Simon Says Stamp ,,, Filled with Love :-)

Hi all :-) I hope you're all having a fab weekend and recharging your batteries ready for the New Year celebrations :-)

I am here to share a card I made using a few more of the Valentine 2014 release from Simon Says Stamp :-)

I stamped the jar onto cardstock and vellum, cutting them out and leaving a 'tab' at the bottom of the vellum so that I could adhere it underneath without it being visible. It gives the jar a lovely frosted look I think :-)

When I showed this to hubby he said, yeah, it's nice but you stamped the tag upside down ! haha ,,, DUH !! :-)

Thanks for looking :-) I appreciate you leaving comments when you're so busy, thank you xx

How was your Christmas ? I hope you had a fab day and I hope Santa was good to you :-)

For this one I used the lovely Floating Herts die and a striking mix of pink and black. I love these colours together and think the glittered hearts with the plain black ones looks fab :-)

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day and hope Santa was good to you this year :-)

Merry Christmas :-)

How fitting that the last ABC Christmas Challenge of the year should fall on Christmas Day :-) I did intend to schedule this but ran out of time, so I am writing this whilst the turkey is cooking in the oven and Christmas carols are playing in the background ,,,, :-)

This time it is Helen's turn to host the challenge and she chose ,,,,

'Z is for Zany'

(Use a funny/humorous image on your Christmas project)

We have a wonderful sponsor for this challenge:

The prize is 7 digis from Bugaboo Stamps for one lucky winner!

I always think House Mouse are the funniest, zany images so I used this 'Hang On Tight' image which is one of the new cling stamps from Stampendous :-)

I made the sky background with Stormy Sky Distress paint and a Snow Cap Dabber before using a Snowflake Stencil to smooch over some embossing paste. I LOVE Washi Tape and this Kelly Purkey Triangles Design reminded me of mountains and I thought it went well ,,,,,, :-)

The snowy icy panel doesn't show up so well on the photo but I tell ya,,, it looks fab IRL ! I used some Frosted Crystal Embossing Powder for that and it really does look like ice !
