Spiffy Scooter :-)

Hi all :-) I hope the sun is shining and all is well with you :-)

I made this card to join in with the Less Is More Challenge whose theme is One Layer + The Need For Speed.

I used this fab set called 'Spiffy Scooters' from Paper Smooches and love how this turned out.

I popped some grey card on the inside to cover up the copic bleed so I hope the one layer still counts,,, it's still one layer on the front :-)

I used a Simon's Exclusive Grid Border Die to create a cobbled road ?

I masked the bike, leaving the wheel arches visible, to stamp the funky flowers all over them. I love the Flower Power retro look, and when Amy saw it she said she wants a scooter like this :-) It even puffs out flower soft exhaust clouds ,,, haha :-)

Crafty Ribbons 'Circles' Challenge :-)

Hi all :-) I am here with a very 'On Trend' Nautical Card ,,, have you seen how many nautical crafty products are floating around at the mo',,, a whole sea of them hehehe :-)

We have some changes a' happenin'  over on the Crafty Ribbons Challenge,, we are now going weekly so you will have twice as many opportunities to win some gorgeous ribbons ! :-)

so circular shaped creations, circles used on your creation, whatever you like ,,please don't forget to add a ribbon too :-)

Ali is giving away a fab selection of blue ribbons this week

I decided to make a circular card and used some of my fave RED/WHITE Saddle Stitch Ribbon from the Crafty Ribbons Store 

I love the way this turned out ! To make the card stand without rolling I chopped a little bit off the  bottom of the inside to make it straight, though I did toy with leaving it so that it would roll with the waves :-)

Apologies for the photo's, I have a new comp and haven't quite got the hang of photo editing, though I am trying ,,, :-)

Simon Says ,,,, Masculine/Father's Day

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for the  Anything Goes Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too :-)

MASCULINE / FATHER'S DAY

As it is Father's Day on the 16th we are dedicating this challenge to all the boys/men in our lives.
Anything Masculine is OK :-)

We are showcasing Tim Holtz products this week, you don't have to use them, but if you have them we would love to see them  :-)

Before moving onto the challenge I thought you might like to see a couple of photo's from my recent trip to Simon Says Stamp !!  I got to meet everyone who works so hard behind the scenes to get your parcels shipped out as quickly as possible, everyone really does work so hard and do an amazing job :-) 

THANK YOU  to everyone at Simon, you ALL made my trip such a wonderful experience, It was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS !! :-)

This one was taken at the Stationary Fair in New York.

 It was fabulous to get to meet teamie Cheiron too ! I had a truly FABULOUS trip ! :-)

and this one was taken after a cocktail or 3 at a fab bar in NYC :-) Thanks to bartender Frank for taking the piccy :-) We had a great night,,, such a laugh :-)

I made a card and tag for a 'Bloke's Birthday' :-)

I used these Tim Holtz Products,,
Birthday Blueprint Cling Stamps, Paper String, Metallic Distress Paint, Crinkle Ribbon.

I love the chalkboard effect and used the paint from a  Snow Cap Dabber to achieve 'the look' :-)

I heat embossed the images and sponged the paint around using a sponge and my fingers,,, I love getting inky messy :-)
For the tag I used some Metallic Paint and a numerical stamp from Dylusions, the tag itself was cut on the Silhouette Cameo,, I will link all the products I used at the bottom of this post
