Less Is More ,,,,,

Hi all :-) I hope you’re all having a fab weekend :-)

I made this card for the Less Is More Challenge after being inspired by these cards by Nichol Magouirk on the Simon Says Stamp March 2013 card Kit Blog Hop yesterday. If you would like to hop along then the start is on the Simon Says Stamp Blog  :-)

When I saw the photo, I thought the large gems on the orange flowers just looked too much so I removed them,, and didn’t ruin the card ! :-)

 So imagine them removed ,,, it does look better I think ,,,  :-)

Simon Says Stamp ‘March Card Kit’ Card :-)

Hi all :-) I am here with another card made using the Simon Says Stamp ‘March Card Kit :-)

First of all I screwed up the little glassine bag, I prefer the crinkled distressed look, and coloured a strip of the woodgrain card using weathered wood distress ink.:-) I will link all the products I used at the bottom but just to say that I used the Simon Exclusives Fresh Daisies die, with the flowers trimmed down and used the stems to pop the fussy cut flowers onto. I also used a small tag punch but can't find a link :-)

 I must admit I do quite like this little bouquet :-)

Simon Says ,,,, ANYTHING GOES !! :-)

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for the Use an Arrow Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too :-)

ANYTHING GOES

We are showcasing Tim Holtz Products this week, you don't have to use them, but if you have them we would love to see them  :-)

I was unsure about what to make for this challenge,, maybe a tag ?? but then I popped over to the Tim Holtz Blog for inspiration and GUESS WHAT !! He has a challenge asking us to make flowers using his Tattered Florals Die !!  YAY !!

Tim has a fab tutorial using his new Distress Paint’s,,, which I don’t have yet ,, he also used linen and burlap fabrics ,,, don’t have those either ,, so I had to improvise but I am thrilled with how this turned out and I WILL wear it :-)

I will link all the products I used at the bottom of this post.

I attached the flower to a chain but it is removable so I can attach it to a bag, jacket,,, anything really ! :-)  doesn’t it look FAB on my autographed Tim Holtz bag !! a treasured possession :-)
