Simon Says ,,,,, Have a Heart :-)

Hi all :-) I am still in the UK visiting family and friends in the UK but I will be heading home soon :-)

This week the theme on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge is ,,,,,,,,

HAVE A HEART :-)

We are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp Exclusives this week, you don't have to use them, but if you have them we would love to see them  :-)

I made 2 cards today,,, I just LOVE the new Simon Says Stamp Valentine 2013 release stamps and dies and have used several on these along with papers and products in the February Card Kit ‘Style of Love’

First up ,,, I Love You

I used the gorgeous Curvy Heart Die 

I die cut the lovely paper and then adhered acetate to the back of it and then adhered the die cut pieces in place using glossy accents.  I used a Small Folded Banner Die and the sentiments are from a Just a Love Note Clear Stamp Set.

I finished with some small hearts cut using a Holiday Shapes Die and a button which was in the kit and some embroidery floss which was in the January Card Kit.

Next up ,,, Happy Love Mail 

I used the gorgeous Falling Hearts Die to cut the lovely pink card and layered it onto Hero Arts Kraft paper, I used a doily and fab little envelope from the February Kit and added die cut hearts using a Large Hearts Die Set, finishing with a cute button and embroidery floss. The sentiment is also from the same Just a Love Note Stamp Set and I added a few gorgeous wood veneer hearts which are also in the kit :-)

‘C’ for CASE a DT card from 2012 ! :-)

Hi all ,, this is a scheduled post as I am in the UK at the mo’ ,,, hope blogger works :-)

It’s time for a new theme over on the ABC Christmas Challenge and this time it is our lovely new teamie, Emma’s turn to host :-)

‘C’ for CASE a DT card from any of last years challenges :-)

It was a very difficult choice ,,, how do you choose one card from so many fabulous ones over the past year !! but I just LOVED this card that Samantha made for the ‘K’ for Keep it Simple Challenge so I CASE’d it ! :-)

and this is my effort ,,,,

I made the card base using Simon Says Stamp 120lb White Cardstock, I used this to die cut the Curvy Snowflake too. I stamped the small snowflakes and inked the punched and die cut snowflakes with Walnut Stain Distress Ink, The twine is from a Hemptique Mini Pack and I added an Enamel Dot from a My Mind’s Eye Winter Wonderland pack.

I also made one using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink

Anything Goes on the PTW :-)

Hi all :-) you know the drill by now ,,, Tuesdays mean it’s a new theme over on the Papertake Weekly Challenge ,, I am in the UK at the mo’ so hope blogger plays nice and publishes this for me :-)

I used this very cute Happy Hopper ‘Recipe for Friendship’

what are they making ? ,,,Pancakes of course :-)

I coloured with Copics and added Glossy Accents to the bowl, Star Dust Stickles here and there and White Flower Soft to the little one’s cotton tail. The papers are from the Simon Says stamp January Card Kit, I coloured the gorgeous Woodgrain Card with Spun Sugar and Tattered Rose Distress Inks. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the gorgeous Sheer Puff Dots ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.
