Hi all :-) It is getting quite hot now and perfect ice lolly weather ,,, and my fave is ,,,, YEP ,,, Orange Mivvy,, ice lolly with ice cream on the inside.. yummy :-)

I have just seen the weather on the UK news ,,, hopefully the sun will show up sometime this summer ,,,, :-) Do you still have a hosepipe ban ?? lol :-)

I don’t own this stamp (yet) it is a stamped image from my teamie Christine ,,, thanks xxxx :-) This one is called Brain Freeze and is now sitting in my basket awaiting checkout !! :-)

I coloured with copics and added Rock Candy Distress stickles to the lolly ( it looks real !) and star dust Stickles around the edges. The papers are from Lawn Fawn and I used plain white card coloured with Squeezed Lemonade DI from the Spring Seasonal set for layering. I cut out a sun and parasol on the Silhouette Cameo, have I told you haw FAB that machine is ,,,BRILL !! :-) The button and stripe ribbon are from Crafty Ribbons and I used a little Hero Arts Twine to finish.

I decorated the inside a little bit too, the sentiment is also from Hero Arts.

CAS on the Basic Grey Challenge :-)

Hi all :-) I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend :-)

This is my last week as a GD on the Basic Grey Challenge and I would like to thank the girls for having me along :-)

This week the theme is ,,,

CLEAN AND SIMPLE ,,,, easy eh !!! :-)

As always we are sponsored by the lovely Heidi at Simon Says Stamp so a fab $25 spree on offer !! :-)

I used this fab hot air balloon image from Hero Arts, the set is called ‘Away’ and is made to co-ordinate with a Basic Grey ‘What’s Up’ paper pack ( which I don’t have ,,, yet !! )

I stamped the image 3 times so that I could cut out and layer all the balloons and used a Spellbinders Oval nestie for matting. I coloured with copics and used glossy accents and a spica glitter pen on the dangly bits. I created a cloudy background using a CC Designs Cloud die cut and my copic air brush. The chevron paper is from a Basic Grey PB&J pack and I used some Hemptique twine and a button to finish.

I decorated the inside using my Silhouette Cameo to cut the clouds and write the sentiment.

This is for my nephew who is emigrating down under next month. We are all going to miss him ,, :-(

Butterflies and Bows on the Crafty Ribbons Challenge :-)

Hi all :-) the last 2 weeks have flown by ,,, where did they go ??

This week on the Crafty Ribbons Challenge it is Gina's turn to choose the theme ,,,

BUTTERFLIES AND BOWS

The prize this time will be this gorgeous bundle of delicious summer goodness :-)

I used this new and oh sooo cute Tilly with Flowers image from the Wild Rose Studio.

I coloured with copics and dotted Star Dust Stickles here and there. The papers are also from the WRS, these are from a new Strawberry Picnic pack, these are really yummy ,,, :-) I used a Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily die cut and a Heart Swirl die cut too, adding a few little rosebuds from WOC. I used my new Martha Stewart 3 in 1 butterfly punch, I love the little ones ,, very cute. I finished with some very lovely Vintage Rose satin ribbon, a flower button and a bow tied with a little 3mm satin ribbon all from Crafty Ribbons :-)

I love the new Penny Black London series and I wanted to use my new ‘On Guard stamp :-)


I stamped the image twice onto Neenah card so I could pop the guard and chicken in front. I coloured with copics and inked the edges with Vintage Photo DI, I used a Gold Spica pen on all the gold bits of the Guard’s box and glossy accents on the chickens beaks. The fab crown was cut out on my Silhouette Cameo ( FAB machine) and I decorated it with various gems, I even gave her a ruby ring ! :-)

I used red card for layering and made the background using a mask and Antique Linen and Vintage Photo DI,I tried to make it look like Buckingham Palace wall !! ,, did it work ?? :-) I embossed another strip of card, which was coloured with the inks, with a new Spellbinders So Trendy folder. The ribbon is from Hero Arts and I used some Hemptique twine to hang a fab Blue Moon London charm. I finished with a few Metallic Dew Drops and some zig zag card cut using an EK Success Zig Zag Punch :-)

ANYTHING GOES

with the added option of ‘for a man’

I used this fabulous new ‘DIY Legend’ stamp from the Wild Rose Studio. Don’t you wish your handyman looked like this ,,, !! :-) I made this for my hubby for Father’s day ,, it is a bit of a joke as a handyman he definitely isn’t, his DIY disasters are legendary ,, lol :-)

I stamped the image with black Archival ink, cut him out and popped him onto plain white card with pop dots. I stamped the image with red pigment ink and embossed with red sparkle EP. I had masked the dots and just added some black gems in their place. The papers are from a ‘Man About Town’ pack and I used some plain red SU card for layering. I used a Martha Stewart Arch Lattice border punch, some black American Tag twine, a button and a wrench charm from my drawer and some metallic dew drops to finish :-)

I used this very cute Happy Hopper stamp called Bunny Cruise :-)

I coloured with copics and them masked the image to create the clouds using my copic air brush. I used blue core-dinations and a strip of SU paper, some dew drops, a die cut sun and some fab ribbon from Crafty Ribbons :-)

Still being good and finishing the insides ,,,, even if it is a bit plain :-)
