Wild Rose Studio ,, Bella Sleeping ,,, :-)

Hi all :-) I hope you’re all having a lovely lazy Sunday afternoon ,,,,, :-)

I made this card using a new Sleeping Bella image from the Wild Rose Studio, isn’t she cute :-)

I saw this card recently on Kate's blog using this image and the oval nesties and thought it was lovely so I CASED that idea :-) I coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils, decoupaged Bella and fixed her with pop dots. The papers are from a matching Bella Papers pack and the sentiment is from a Birthday Circles set. I used a Heart Swirl die cut and some punched flowers, a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and I made the ribbon slider using the Simple Buckles die from Memory Box, I cut 3 out of card, glued them together and sprinkled the top with fine silver glitter.

New House Mouse Cuddlebugs ,,,, :-)

Hi all :-) I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend and for those of you going to the Ally Pally have a good day,,,,, I wish I was there too :-)

I have made these 2 cards using the new House Mouse stamp of the month for March, this is called Cuddlebug ,, very cute :-)

For my fist card I followed the lovely sketch on the Seems A Little Sketchy Challenge.

I coloured with copics and inked the edges with Vintage Photo DI the papers are First Edition New Leaf ( thanks Debby xx ) I distressed all the edges and glittered with Platinum Stickles. I added some footprint twill ribbon and some hemptique twine. The sentiment is from a Simon Says Exclusives sentiment set.

For my next card I decided to make a shaped one :-)

I coloured the image using copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky DI. I used a Grand Calibur and cut out a Grand Scalloped Circle from plain white card and a Grand Circle from Tim Holtz Kraft Core. I used nestie Ovals to cut out the image and mat. The papers are from Stampin’ Up and I added some hemptique twine and a lovely rose from a Prima Londonerry pack. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Hi all :-) Hope all is well with everyone and hope you’re all looking forward to a lovely weekend of crafting :-)

I chose this very cute Hoot Owl :-)

Now the eagle eyed amongst you might have spotted that this card bears a striking resemblance to the card I posted on Wednesday ,,, :-) I coloured with copics then masked the image, I used a CC designs cloud die cut as a mask and used an air brush and a B21 copic marker to make a cloudy sky. The papers are My Minds Eye and I used a Heart Swirl die and a small flower punch that was in the April Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp. The sentiment was a gift from Domi and I used some pink vintage tape to finish :-)

Simon Says ,,,, April Showers Bring Spring Flowers :-)

APRIL SHOWERS BRING SPRING FLOWERS !

Guess who forgot we were showcasing Bo Bunny or Basic Grey this week !! yup ,,, moi !! I used My Minds Eye papers so then I had to carefully remove the image and re cut and stick ,,, I have a card ready for a later challenge that bears a striking resemblance to this one, you can pop back on Friday to see it !! :-)

I used this oldie but goodie House Mouse image, this is called Rainy Daisy Days, coloured with Copics and the edges inked with Stormy Sky Distress Ink. I then added oodles of star dust stickles on the raindrops.

The papers are from a brand new pack from Bo Bunny , these are called ‘Ambrosia’, I added 3 Bo Bunny pearls from an Ambrosia Jewels iCandy pack and have just noticed that one has slipped a bit ,,,, will fix it before posting ! :-) I used my fave Heart Swirl die and the small daisy punch from the April Card Kit, also coloured with stickles and a yellow gem popped in the middle. I used a Martha Stewart border punch and some vintage tape to finish :-)

Hi all ,,, my goodness these Tuesdays soon swing by don’t they !! It is already time for a new theme over on the Papertake Weekly Challenge :-)

APRIL SHOWERS ,,,, :-)

I love this House Mouse ‘Gentle Rain’ image,, sooo cute :-) I love his expression ,, like my dog Jessie when she has to go out for a wee in the rain ,,,’do I have to’ ,,,, poor thing eh !! :-)

I coloured with copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky DI, the papers are Jillibean Soup from a Homemade Bean pack and I inked the edges with Wild Honey DI. I added twine, a lovely rose from a Londonerry pack and I made the ribbon slider with a Simple Buckles Memory Box die, the fab vintage tape is from The Ribbon Girl and I added loads of star dust stickles and robins nest dew drops to finish :-)

I LOVE London and one of my fave places ,,, apart from Oxford St ( No 1 shopping street in the world) is the Tower and surrounding area ,, such a lovely place ,,, so when I saw The Tower Bridge stamp by Penny Black at the CHA I knew I had to have it! :-)

The theme this week over on the Penny Black Saturday challenge is to CASE a card by my lovely friend, Helen.

I stamped the image with Walnut Stain DI and then using a Tim Holtz waterbrush pulled out a little of the colour to create a watercolor effect. I then inked around the edges with stormy sky DI. I used Kraft-Core dinations for layering and for the embossed panel. I used a Distressed Stripes folder, sandpaper and a paper distresser , the paper is from My Minds Eye and I added some vintage tape from The Ribbon Girl to finish :-)

Hi all :-) I hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend and enjoyed loads of yummy choccies :-)

The past fortnight has flown by and it is time for a new theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge :-)

This time it is Jennifer’s turn to choose ,,,

I love this cute House Mouse ‘Sweet Sensation’ image, doesn’t he look a happy mouse ? :-) I coloured with copics, cut out the whole image and coloured extra jelly beans for layering. The papers are from a My Minds Eye Life of the Party pack. I added some twine and layered a couple of Prima flowers with a Basic Grey button, added some Robins Nest Dew Drops and a Hero Arts sentiment. All the edges were stitched and I added glossy accents and star dust stickles to finish :-)
