The last Stamp Something Challenge ,,,,

Hi all :-) We had loads of fabulous entries to our Digi challenge and lots of nice comments too, thank you xx
This week will be the last Stamp Something Challenge so we hope you will all join us for the finale :-)

I have had a lovely time on the team and will miss being a part of it, but sometimes life gets in the way and tough decisions have to be made. Thanks Denise and Erin for having me on the team and I will obviously be keeping in touch with everyone xx

The theme is Stamp Something !! :-) ,, just ink up a stamp and use it !! :-)

For my card I chose this very cute Two Cup Changito set, today is a sad day so I will be needing 2 cups :-) I coloured with Copics and paper pieced his top, I then doodled some stitches and added Glossy Accents to the cups. The papers are from an Authentique Journey pack and I used a ribbon from my drawer and a fab coffee pot charm that was a RAK from America xx The sentiment came with the image.

The circular shaped mark on the cup is not a fabby design, just a reflection off the gloss :-)

For the inside I used my fab new TH Weathered Clock die , I used brown card which I then smothered with distress ink, sprinkled with Aged Mahongany distress powder , heated then brushed off the excess particles.

I set the time to 9.30 ,,, time for a cuppa !!!

Antonio is 16 years old and entered our Children's Challenge recently.His work is amazing and he is a designer for the Magnolia Stamps Store ! If you haven't visited his Lo Shakerato Alberto blog before then you are in for a treat !

This week the DT have all used My Minds Eye or Jillibean Soup papers on their creations. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have them why not dig them out and use them,, stop just admiring and stroking them !!! :-)

For my card I decided to stick with a simple easel card. The image is from Stamps Happen, this one is called Louis and Rosie. I coloured with Copics and doodled some faux stitching around the edges. The papers are My Minds Eye from the Hattie paper pack. I love MME papers and the colours in this one are particularly lovely ,,, blues, greens, teal ,, gorgeous ! I made a tag for the sentiment, the image and text is from a Crafty Secrets Party Catz set. I was going to use my cricut to cut out the tag but horror of horrors it has stopped working !! The ribbon is from Martha Stewart and I used a Out Of Print Basic Grey brad in the centre. I finished with a few Robins Nest Dew Drops, coloured with a blue copic and added some glossy accents to the goldfish bowl.

Apologies,, but no shaped card for me ,, I stuck with the plain a square one and followed Pop’s fab sketch on the Lily of the Valley Challenge.

I don't own this stamp ,, yet ,,, ! This is a stamped image from Mandy, thanks me darlin xx I coloured with copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky distress ink and added Star Dust stickles everywhere :-) The papers are Basic Grey from the Nordic Holiday pack and I used an EK Success snowflake border punch. I also used a Martha Stewart Himalayan Snowflake punch and the centre is also from a LOTV stamp set . i finished with some ribbon and used the snowflake confetti from the punch and added some tiny brown pearls to the middle , these were in a pack I won in a challenge from Pizzazz Aplenty. :-)

This week the DT are showcasing Cuttlebug embossing folders. You don’t HAVE to use them but if you have them ,, why not get them out ! :-)

For my card I used this very cute Snoopy the Bus Driver stamp, I also bought a Unity Along for the Ride set that I thought would work well with this image :-)

I stamped the image then masked so that the traffic signs would be behind the bus, I coloured with Copics and layered the bus so that Snoopy and the Woodstocks would be inside. I inked the edges with Stormy Sky distress ink and added Glossy Accents to the traffic light and Star Dust stickes on the lights and along the floor

The papers are My Minds Eye from the Fly a Kite pack. I used a Martha Stewart Arch lattice border punch and a My Favorite Things Die-namics Sunshine die.

I used a Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes folder on the red paper, a Spots and Dots folder on the red strip across the middle and a Divine Swirl folder on the sun.

I added some Robins Nest Dew Drops, Star Dust stickes on the sun a couple of fun Googly Eyes

Hi all :-) I hope you’re all looking forward to a weekend of relaxation and crafting !! :-)

I was allocated Bugaboo Digi Stamps,,, LOVE them ,, so fun and quirky :-) AND they have now started to do papers too !

I won several images recently and decided to use Scarlette Bubble Bath and their new Polka Dot Flowers papers :-)

I followed the fab sketch on the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge ( if you haven’t seen their blog this week you should pop over, Pricilla’s son was in an Ice Skating Competition, he is only 4 ! and he is brilliant !! go and watch it, it is sure to put a smile on your face )

I coloured the image with Copics and added copious amounts of Star Dust Stickles ( which is still drying ,, talk about last min !! ) I added some ribbon and charm from my drawers, some Robins Nest Dew Drops and a Martha Stewart Buttercup punched flower. the sparkly button was in my drawer for years waiting for this card to be made lol,, I added a twine bow and some Magnolia Heart Swirls to finish :-)

Now ,, I know that this notebook bears a striking resemblance to the notebook from last weeks challenge ,,, but my Mum took that one ,,, and Amy needs one too ,,, whether she thinks so or not !!! lol :-) I love making these !! so easy to do with a bind it all !! love me gadgets ,,, :-)

I used a cute House Mouse Taking Notes image, I love this type when you can write the text ,, Amanda writes is another one ,, so versatile ! ,, anyways ,,, coloured with copics and the edges inked with Vintage Photo distress ink. The papers are Basic grey from the Kraft and Manila packs, I added some ribbon and a flattened chrome cap with an ‘A’ for Amy from the vintage typewriter set, LOVE these :-)

The papers are from a new Basic Grey Nordic Holiday pack and I stamped a WRS sentiment directly onto the paper. I added some ribbon from The Ribbon Girl and used a Martha Stewart snowflake punch and a Woodware one too. The rhinestones are recycled from a shop bought card I received last year :-)

Another Tuesday has whizzed around and it’s time for a fab Dawny’s Sketch on the Papertake Weekly Challenge ! :-)

As some of you may know my DS, Sean, has just finished at University, here they have the Graduation Ceremony in October ( weird I know ) so I made this card for him :-) I just LOVE this Changito Grad image ,, very cute and hardly any colouring !! :-) I coloured with Copics , E 30, 31, 33 , C 9,6,3 and E 40, 4. I cut the image with a Spellbinders wonky rectangle and inked the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. The papers are from an Authentique Glowing pack and I matted onto black SU card. I used a Die-namics Stacking Stars die, and used a lovely Mortar board charm that I have been saving for this card, it was in a prize I won a while ago on the Peggy Loves Vintage blog, thanks Peggy xx I added some Robins Nest Dew Drops, American Tag twine and a Tim Holtz Word Stick to finish :-)

I have had this recipe box for over a year just waiting to be decorated ,, about time I got it done eh ! :-) For the outside I used the ever so versatile House Mouse Amanda Writes stamp, this image can be used for EVERYTHING ! I used a Lawn Fawn Alphabet set to write ‘recipe’s’ The papers are Kaiser Crafts Nan’s Favourites. All the edges were inked with Vintage Photo distress ink and I added a gingham ribbon from The Ribbon Girl and a fab charm that was a RAK from our lovely America .

For the inside I used various stamps to make sections and I have ordered these recipe cards to use :-) I can’t wait for the postie to arrive !!

Good Morning all :-) I hope you are all well and for those of you affected by the terrible hurricane Irene I hope you all stay safe xxx

Today is Amy’s 18th Birthday !! Where did the time go ?? Flew by in the blink of an eye !!

Today she will be having a pool party, to which me and her Dad aren’t invited !! Though I will be keeping a discreet eye on them, will sneak up onto the roof and peep over lol :-)

We are an animal loving family and Amy is especially fond of cats ( we have 7 so far !! ) and she likes quirky distressed cards rather than cute, so I bought this fab Crafty Secrets Party Cats Clear stamp set especially to make her card, there are loads of fab designs and sentiments on this ,, fantastic value ! I coloured the images with copics and inked the edges with vintage photo distress ink, adding star dust stickles around the edges and frosted lace on their ruffles. The papers are from a Basic Grey Out of Print pack, all the edges were inked and distressed and layered onto SU Close to Cocoa cardstock. I also bought the Tim Holtz weathered clock die ( Debby’s fault !! ) I added some bias tape and made a triple bow and popped an American Crafts Elegant Pearl Brad in the middle. The paper edges were all glittered with Platinum stickles and I added a few Hero Arts Blush Dots to finish.

Amy said this is the BEST card I ever made for her !!! :-)

I must admit I don’t usually bother to decorate the inside but maybe I should do it more often !

For the inside I used more stamps from the set and the papers from the same BG pack. The sentiment is Hero Arts and the no 18 is from a Lawn fawn alphabet set.
