Hi all :-) hope all is well with everyone and you’re all looking forward to a lovely weekend :-) For most of the world it is Mother’s Day on Sunday ( except the UK) so I hope we are all going going to be pampered !!

I needed a few wedding cards so I used this very old Penny Black wedding cake stamp ,,,, so old I don’t think they make it anymore !! I used some silver stardream card for layering and Doodlebug white embossed card for the background, I embossed a strip of card using a Cuttlebug Swirl folder and punched a scalloped heart border with a Martha Stewart punch. The ribbon was in my drawer and I added a small rose, a few gems and some stickles to finish. The sentiment was made on the comp :-)

Another LIM card :-)

This is my 2nd attempt at a clean and simple card for the Less Is More Challenge. My 1st one was a Congratulations one so I thought I should have a go at a Thank You card too ,,, I need a few of these !! :-)

I used my new Lawn Fawn Just My Type stamp set. I was awake for most of the night ( hay fever ugh) and this card popped in there ,,, tho it does look quite different from what it was in my imagination !! The logistics are different lol ,,, I used Basic Grey Manila paper and paper pieced the typewriter . The Thank You is a Hero Arts stamp which originally said Thank You for everything you do but I masked the rest of it :-) I also used a Bottle Cap Inc flattened chrome cap, a Vintage Alphabet typewriter image and an epoxy dot. I punched the edge with an SU punchwhich I thought went really well with this image !

Is this LIM enough ?? I am not sure ,, I had to add the memo thing as it looked unbalanced. It may be a bitt OTT for the challenge so will wait to see what the experts , Mandi and Chrissie and my fellow Limettes say about it

It is Vicky's last week with us and we would like to thank her for her lovely work over the last month :-) It has been fab having you with us :-)

The DT have all used stamps and products from My Favorite Things , you don't have to use them but if you have them we would love to see them :-)

For my card I used this very cute Time for the Bubbly from My Favorite Things. I coloured the image with copics and paper pieced the ‘wallpaper’ with Jillibean Blossom Soup, all the papers are from this pad, I then added Star Dust Stickles on the mirror and bubbles. The wine bottle is from the same set. The ‘Fifty’ is from a Hero Arts set and I used a Bottle Cap Inc Flattened Chrome Cap and covered with an Epoxy Dot. The gingham ribbon was in my drawer.
I also decided to join in the paper piercing too and the edges were pierced using my sewing machine with no thread

Hi All :-) I hope you all had a lovely BH weekend, well it’s Tuesday now so time for you all to stop messing about and get back to work !! Yup ,,, get into your crafty spaces and get creative !! Its COMPULSORY lol :-)

It’s the beginning of the month so a nice gentle one to get May off to a good start ! :-)

For my card I used this very cute Lucky Cats stamp. I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky distress ink then smothered in Star Dust stickles ( as usual ! ) The papers are Kaiser Crafts and I added some satin ribbon, a brad, a charm and a few gems. The flower was made using my FAB new McGill Buttercup punch. I punched one white then one from the DP and embossed them in a Swiss Dots folder. I then punched a smaller flower using a Nellie Snellen punch and then popped a a small rose in the center :-) The leaves are made using a Martha Stewart frond punch.

House Mouse and Friends Monday Travel Challenge , midway reminder :-)

Hi All :-) I am back with another of my new HM stamps that sort of fell into me basket when I wasn’t lookin !! :-)

The theme for this fortnight on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge is Travel,,, so anything that gets you from A to B !!

This stamp is called Biggly’s Tow Service ,, I just love the expression on the Panda’s face ,,, he looks worried to death poor chap ha ha . I coloured with Copics, added Glossy Accents to their noses and a glaze pen on the wheels and tricycle and then inked around the edges with Stormy Sky and Pumice Stone distress inks. The papers are Basic Grey ,, I think from the Archaic pad ?? they probably don’t make it any more ! I added a couple of buttons and a Lili of the Valley sentiment and kept it simple.

Less Is More + All Things Unity Challenges

Hi all :-) Hope you’re having a lovely weekend :-)

I have just made this card using a new Unity set of stamps, I love them !! .

This set is called Best Wishes and Blooms I do like the CAS look but wonder if I should have used a subtle background paper instead of plain white ,,, it looks pretty nakey I think or maybe I should have sprayed the white card with Glimmer mist to give it some umph !! I coloured the flowers with Copics and added Star Dust and Copper stickles for sparkle. The sentiment was in the same set and I added some ribbon and gems to finish ,,, very simple !! The green card is SU Artichoke from LIM boss Mandi

Stamp Something ,,,,, With Wings

Hi all :-) This is a scheduled post cos I am in a bar watching THE Wedding on a big screen :-)

This week we would like to see THINGS WITH WINGS , it can be on the image or a punch or paper design ,,,, easy :-)

For my card i followed the fab sketch on the Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge. They are celebrating their 2nd Birthday with a blog hop too, Congratulations

I used this gorgeous Hero Arts Beautiful Peacocks stamp and sentiment. I stamped the image with Versacolor and embossed with sparkle EP , I then coloured the image with Copics and decoupaged the bird and then the wing. I added Papermania blue glimmer dots and Star Dust stickles onto the feathers. The papers are My Minds Eye from the Hattie paper pad and I used a Tim Holtz Elegant Flourishes die. The flowers are a selection from Prima and the rose is from WOC.

Hi All :-) ,, are you all glued to the telly watching all the pomp and ceremony of the Royal Wedding ?? A local bar here has orgainised a day of festivities with a Right Royal Knees Up ,,,, so I am going to be there watching it all on a big screen :-) I have a HUGE wedding hat with red white and blue ribbons and a Union Jack top ,,, sorted !! :-)

It’s time for a new theme on the Totally Papercrafts Challenge . This week it is Mel’s turn to choose the theme and she chose

GLITTER !! I am sure the wedding will be a glittery affair so a perfect choice :-)

For my card I used this fab Hippy Chic image, coloured with Copics and inked around the edges with Dusty Concord distress ink. The papers are Basic Grey but the front fell off so am not sure which one but I thought the psychadelic look was perfect with the image. I used a Martha Stewart Lattice Arch border punch, some ribbon and a charm from my drawers and a flower gem to finish. All the glitter is my fave Star Dust Stickles

Penny Black Wedding Card

Hi all :-) I hope you're all fit and well and looking forward to THE wedding tomorrow :-) I will be in a local bar watching the events on a big screen with loads of other people ,,, mainly British ,, drinking tea and eating cucumber sandwiches !! :-) ,,, lol

I just received this fab Penny Black Bride and Groom stamp and couldn't wait to ink it up and enter a few challenges with it !! :-)

I coloured the image with Copics ,,,, not much ink used here, but I did add some C00 to the dress for shading which doesn't show on the piccy :-) I glittered the flowers and edges with Star Dust stickles. I kept the colour scheme pretty simple. I used a EK Success border punch and white embossed card for the backgrounds. I used a little silver ribbon and a rose from WOC. The gems are from Prima and were a gift from blog buddie Chris xx I added a few extra gems to balance the card and that was it ,,,,!!

I have become addicted to Lawn Fawn stamps !! I just LOVE them and I have used the Bake Me a Cake set again :-) ( You can see a Wedding card I made using this set here )

I coloured the image with Copics and decoupaged the bottom tier, and then I used a chalk ink to colour the edges. The papers are Crate Paper from the Neighbourhood paper pad ( I LOVE these ) I used Spellbinders nesties for the circle and stamped lots of little swirls from the stamp set, coloured them and used them to decorate. I used a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Double Loop set to create the border. I stamped some flags using a Hero Arts Friendly Flags stamp set and used some Pink Paislee twine to hang it up.

I also used a Spellbinders Banner Basics to create the bunting on the inside ,, these were stamped with Hero Arts Stamps and coloured with Copics
