Stamp Something ,,,,, Cute !!

Good afternoon , I am back with my 2nd card of the day, this time it's my DT card for a new theme on the Stamp Something Challenge ,,,

CUTE SOMETHINGS

We had 760 entries to our Anything Goes challenge !!! WOW !! I think it must be a record for a weekly challenge !! ,,, I could be wrong so no emails telling me off lol :-)

We are sponsored by Sugar Nellie so some gorgeous stamps on offer for one lucky entrant !! :-)

The DT were all given a Sugar Nellie stamp to use !!! YAY !! I was sent this super cute Rony stamp ,,, I love this !!!

I followed Kiki's fab sketch on the Sugar Bowl Challenge. I coloured the image with Copics and Prismacolor pencils. I inked the edges of the image and papers with Vintage Photo Distress ink. The papers are from a Basic Grey Max and Whiskers paper pad and I sewed all the edges on my sewing machine ( it is getting alot of use at the mo',,have run out of dsst,,, can't wait for my ATG gun to arrive !! :-)) . I stamped a few paw prints with brown memento ink and added some Glossy Accents to his nose and a dab of Star Dust stickles on the water drips, I also used a few card candy dots on the corners. The sentiment ticket is from a Hero Arts Tags and Tickets Clear set.

Totally Papercrafts ,,,,, Add a Heart Challenge

Good Morning all :-) I hope you are all fit and well and looking forward to a fabby weekend !!

This week on the Totally Papercrafts Challenge it was Scoopy's turn to choose the theme and she chose ,,,

ADD A HEART !! ,,,a nice easy one !!:-)

I made this card for Jo's 40th Birthday last weekend, she said she liked it !! ;-)

I love this Happy Hopper stamp, this one is called Relaxing Bubbles Bath , just the thing for a busy Mum on her birthday ,,, a nice bit of pampering :-) I coloured the image with Copics, inked around the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and added Star Dust Stickles everywhere !! The papers are from Magnolia, from the Fairytale Collection. and I used some coredinations which I embossed with a Cuttlebug Bubbles Folder then sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist I used a Martha Stewart Double Loop punch and added a Basic Grey Kioshi fabric flower , a few Robins Nest Dew Drops some spotty ribbonand a heart charm I sewed all the edges on my machine ,,,,


The sentiment on the front was made using a Hero Arts pixi alphabet set , the Happy Birthday on the inside is also from hero Arts and the quote is from Inkadinkado

Simon Says ,,,,,, Lets Play BINGO !! :-)

Good morning all :-) I hope you are all OK and managing to find some time to craft !! :-) We had loads of fabulous entries to Domi's sketch last week ,,, thank you to everyone for joining us :-)

This week we have a very different and interesting challenge for you. We are having a game of Bingo ! So, eyes down and Look In !!. Let's Play !!!......

So, for this challenge its simple ! You just choose 3 items that are in a straight line and it can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal so for instance you could choose brads, lace and gems or punch/die cuts, flowers and gems - simple ! If you need any further guidance, please look at the Design Team's cards on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog and above each card it will tell you which line from the grid they chose.

We would also like to thank the Allsorts Challenge Blog, they ran this same challenge a few weeks ago and have very kindly let us pinch their idea :-)

I chose the 3rd row down , Gems/Glitter/Ribbon.

This was one of THE very first stamps I ever bought !! It is a pity I don't have a photo of the one and only card I ever made using it ,,, HORRENDOUS ,, but I think I have learned alot since those days and l think this card is a vast improvement !! :-) It is from Stamps Happen this one is called 4 Cats,(oops ,, it is currently out of stock but it will be back in store SOON !!) I love the slightly quirky designs they make :-) This is a huge stamp and there isn't much room for anything else on the front of the card. I stamped the image with Memento ink and coloured with Copics. I then masked all the cats and used my FAB Copic air brush to make the background. I then used some Star Dust Stickles around the edge. The papers are Basic Grey Max and Whiskers and I sewed all the edges on my sewing machine ,, (I have run out of DSST !!) The ribbon was in my drawer and the lovely Champagne Pearls are from Kaiser Craft.

Inside view ,, I masked all the tall cats and just inked the small one for the inside, the sentiment is from a Stampendous Clear Set

ABC Christmas ,,, B for Black and White + Coloured image

Oh wow !!! we had loads of fabulous entries for our 'A' Challenge !! It was a lovely surprise especially as many people were all Christmas carded out !! :-)

For the next fortnight on the ABC Christmas Challenge we have a fab theme for you ,, I LOVE this one and all the DT cards are fantastic !!

Now ,,, because I was trying to get ahead with DT cards ( because I am going to the CHA next week !!!! YAY !!! ) I had made my card before Dustin gave the DT some fab images to use ,,,, IF I have time i will make another one tho !! :-)

I LOVE this super cute LOTV Igloo for Two image ,, and I did keep the colours to a minimum ,,,, :-) I coloured the image with Copics and inked around the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink. The papers are Doodlebug and I used a Martha Stewart Icicle punch, some spotty organza ribbon and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops. I used Star Dust Stickles around the edges and on the igloo and Diamond Dust for the icy ground. People have asked me what I use to glue this on ,, I have found Glossy Accents to be the best ,,, it doesn't fall off like it does with PVA glue. I have stitched around the edges ,,, my sewing machine is getting alot of use at the mo' ,, I have run out of DSST !!!! :-)

For my card I followed the fab sketch on the Truly Scrumptious challenge . The DT were all offered digi images to use and I chose this fab Curious Cake !! I coloured the image with Copics and added ultrafine crystal glitter on the icing . The papers ,,, hmmm ,,, I think HOTP but the front fell off so am not sure,, the sentiment is from the Wild Rose Studio and the ribbon, charm and green pearls were in my drawer :-) I did some sewing on this card too, real and faux :-)

I used this cute House Mouse Party Animals stamp. Coloured with Copics and glittered around the edges with Star Dust Stickles. I have had this paper for ages and have no idea who made it ! I used some green coredinations and a Happy Birthday Enbossing Folder. The flower is from a Prima Esprit tube and I glittered a green button with stickles for the center. I used a Martha Stewart Happy Birthday border punch and added a few Robins Nest Dew Drops to finish ,,,,

oooh,,, and I sewed all the edges too. I must say I am quite enjoying sewing my cards at the mo' but really it is because I have almost run out of DSST !!!! I have ordered this FAB ATG Gun ( I have wanted one for ages ) and am stalking the postman every day !!! :-),,, hope it arrives TODAY !! :-),, no more peeling the backing off and having all the mess !! :-)

I chose this fab Johnny Bird Boots image from Meljen Designs,,, how CUTE is this !!! :-) I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink . I used a Spellbinders Deckle Rectangle die, perfect for tall images. The papers are Bo Bunny and I used a Tim Holtz Burlap embossing folder to make it look like a wall ,,, I wish I had used a contrasting paper at the bottom ,,, ughugh ,, never mind ,,,, !! The flowers are from Prima and the ribbon was in my drawer. The sentiment was in the set from Jak Heaths blog to raise funds for a fellow crafter, Louise, who is fighting a battle with stomach cancer. Domi's Fab sketch !! Lovely eh !! :-)

I love Crafters Companion stamps and the cute Popcorn Bear is especially adorable :-) I chose to use stamps from the Bundle of Joy set :-) ( I know a few girls who are expecting babies right now so maybe this will come in handy !! :-))

I coloured the image with Copics and inked around the edges with Stormy Sky Distress Ink I added my fave Star Dust Stickles here and there ( I wish they would make this in bigger bottles !! :-)) The papers are from a Bearly Mine CD ( which was sold in the store but is now out of stock :-( ,,, )

I stampeed the Cute and Cuddly sentiment, which is in the stamp set, with Brilliance ink so it didn't show up TOO much. The lace ribbon was a gift from America, thanks xx The flowers are Prima Esprit and Mini Roses, sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist and stickled. I also added a couple of Doodlebug brads on the wheels

I even made a matching box !!!! :-) This Martha Stewart Score Board is perfect to help make these boxes !!

Papertake Weekly ,,, A Cold and Frosty Morning

Oh my goodness ,, I am watching Sky News and seeing all the flooding in Queensland,, I know it has been going on for days but there is just no end in sight !! Totally Papercrafts ,,,,, Thank You ,, + Wild Rose Studio DT card

Good Morning :-) OOhh I have had a lovely week ,,, bought some fab bargains in the sales ,,, a NEXT opened here recently ,, my fave UK shop and the prices are fab !! Now ,,, have I done the right thing ?? I have put on a little weight recently ,, which I blame on being diagnosed with Hypothyroid and NOT on all the Cadbury's Whole Nut that I wash down with a glass ( or 2 ) of red !!! lol ,, I bought 2 pairs of jeans that are size 12 ( I went up to a size 14) ,,, but I am determined to get into them :-) I also bought a lovely coat that is a snug fit !!!! lol. I am now teetotal and the choccy has gone ,,no more mince pies ,,,, !!! Wish me luck !!!! :-)I will take a piccy of me in them ,,,, WHEN not IF I get into them :-),,, apologies if I haven't visited you ,,, been too busy shopping !! :-)

Anyway ,, enough of me ,,, time for a new theme on the Totally Papercrafts Challenge. Emma was the hostess with the mostest for this challlenge but due to her work commitments she has had to step down from the team :-( Joanne has also decided the time has come to step down too ,, so it is a VERY sad day for us on the TPC. I am running out of decent DSST so I am being VERY economical with what little I have left and have got my sewing machine out !!!!

For my card I chose ,,, New Life ,,, An engagement card for my nephew and his fiance :-)

This is my 2nd engagement card this week !! Both are made using House Mouse stamps :-) This one is called Sunflower Smooch ,,, aww soo cute !! :-) I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink before adding Star Dust stickles to highlight. The papers are from my newest Basic Grey Pyrus paper. I used a Martha Stewart heart border punch and a few Kaiser Champagne pearls and ivory ribbon from my drawer. The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp exclusives set.

ABC Christmas ,,,, A for Anything Christmas Challenge

Good Morning all :-) Time to start the alphabet from the begining !! It is hard to believe we are starting the 2nd run !! :-) I know that some of you may be ' Christmas carded out' BUT when next December comes around you will be glad to have a box full of cards ready !! I know I was !! So join in with ours and the other Christmas Challenges and get ahead !!

A for ANYTHING CHRISTMAS !!

We are sponsored by the lovely Heidi at Simon Says Stamp so a fab voucher to the store for one lucky entrant :-)

I made by card using this super cute House Mouse Christmas Treats stamp :-) I coloured the image with Copics and inked around the edges with my fave Stormy Sky Distress ink. I then used loads of crystal glitter and stickles for sparkle :-) I made the snowflake using the same papers and a Martha Stewart Himalayan punch, and Woodware punch and smothered them in glitter :-) I added a few Robins Nest Dew Drops and a ribbon and charm to finish ;-)
