Friday afternoon and time for a new theme on the Stamp Something Challenge :-)

For my card I used Dads Little Princess inage from A Day For Daisies, I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with Spun Sugar Distress ink. The papers are from Magnolia Fairytale Collection and the sentiment is from Wild Rose Sudio Greetings set. I used some very fine organza ribbon and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops from a Fairy Dust bottle, the border punch is X Cut :-)

Totally Papercrafts ,,,,, Thank You ,, + Wild Rose Studio DT card

Good Morning :-) OOhh I have had a lovely week ,,, bought some fab bargains in the sales ,,, a NEXT opened here recently ,, my fave UK shop and the prices are fab !! Now ,,, have I done the right thing ?? I have put on a little weight recently ,, which I blame on being diagnosed with Hypothyroid and NOT on all the Cadbury's Whole Nut that I wash down with a glass ( or 2 ) of red !!! lol ,, I bought 2 pairs of jeans that are size 12 ( I went up to a size 14) ,,, but I am determined to get into them :-) I also bought a lovely coat that is a snug fit !!!! lol. I am now teetotal and the choccy has gone ,,no more mince pies ,,,, !!! Wish me luck !!!! :-)I will take a piccy of me in them ,,,, WHEN not IF I get into them :-),,, apologies if I haven't visited you ,,, been too busy shopping !! :-)

Anyway ,, enough of me ,,, time for a new theme on the Totally Papercrafts Challenge. Emma was the hostess with the mostest for this challlenge but due to her work commitments she has had to step down from the team :-( Joanne has also decided the time has come to step down too ,, so it is a VERY sad day for us on the TPC. It is quite fitting that Emma chose the theme ,,

For my card I used this very cute Milton with Flowers stamp from the Wild Rose Studio. I coloured the image with Copics and Prismacolor pencils, I inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress Ink. The papers are from a couple of Paper Packs from the WRS too. I added Star Dust Stickles to hightlight . I used a Martha Stewart Double Loop punch and some ribbon and gems from my drawer, I also added a few Robins Nest Dew Drops. The sentimet is from a WRS sentiment set. I am running out of decent DSST so I am being VERY economical with what little I have left and have got my sewing machine out !!!!

For my card I chose ,,, New Life ,,, An engagement card for my nephew and his fiance :-)

This is my 2nd engagement card this week !! Both are made using House Mouse stamps :-) This one is called Sunflower Smooch ,,, aww soo cute !! :-) I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink before adding Star Dust stickles to highlight. The papers are from my newest Basic Grey Pyrus paper. I used a Martha Stewart heart border punch and a few Kaiser Champagne pearls and ivory ribbon from my drawer. The sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp exclusives set.

A for ANYTHING CHRISTMAS !!

I made by card using this super cute House Mouse Christmas Treats stamp :-) I coloured the image with Copics and inked around the edges with my fave Stormy Sky Distress ink. I then used loads of crystal glitter and stickles for sparkle :-) I made the snowflake using the same papers and a Martha Stewart Himalayan punch, and Woodware punch and smothered them in glitter :-) I added a few Robins Nest Dew Drops and a ribbon and charm to finish ;-)

For my card I used this super cute Me and My Cat stamp that I bought at the Ally Pally last year. I coloured the image with Copics and inked around the edges with Stormy Sky and Vintage Photo Distress inks . the papers are a mix of Craft Creations and HOTP ( I think ) the flowers are Prima, sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist and I used Star Dust Stickles for extra sparkle. I used a EK Success Daisy Scallop border punch, a MS Frond Leaf Punch and added a ribbon and cute cat charm to finish.

Over the Christmas holidays we had 2 family engagements so I made this easel card for my niece and her fiance to celebrate the strart of a New life together :-)

I used my lovely ' I Give You My Heart' stamp. Coloured with Copics and Prismacolor pencils ,, I love the effect this had on the flowers ,,, they look almost velvety !! The papers are Basic Grey , I used SU card for layering and a Martha Stewart Heart border punch. the sentiment from a Simon Says Stamp exclusives set and the ribbon and flowers were in my drawer. I also added loads of Star Dust stickles and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops to finish :-)

The Papers are from a Basic Grey Max and Whiskers pad. I used a Spellbinders Labels 5 die and added Basic Grey Gems in the corners, I used a Martha Stewart Happy Birthday punch and a ribbon and buttons from my drawers. For the glitter I used LOADS of stickles glitter glue , Star Dust and Platinum . I also used a glaze pen on the bone to finish :-)

Good Morning all :-) I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and you're now looking forward to a Happy New Year :-) Thank you for joining in with our Anything Goes Challenge last week, we appreciate you taking the time to join in especially at this very busy time of year :-)

This week, our challenge is TIME TO PARTY/CELEBRATE !

Domi gave us this fab bottle template to use for the challenge , it is not compulsory ,, just an extra bit of fun :-) also all the DT used Glimmer Mist and Glitter on their creations, if you have them we would love to see them used ,,, but you don't have to to join in :-)

The winner this week will win a $50 shopping spree in the Simon Says Stamp Store - BRILLIANT !!! :-)

For my card I used these lovely Popcorn Bear and Little Duck stamps from the Celebrate set, the sentiments are in the set too. I coloured the images on the card and bottle tag with Copics and Prismacolor pencils and I inked around the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink. The papers are Echo Park Merry Christmas I glittered here and there with Star Dust Stickles glitter glue and used gold Glimmer Mist on the bottle. I used a Martha Stewart Lattice Arch border punch and added a couple of gems and grungeboard die cut stars ,, coloured with a white acrylic dabber, coloured with copics and smothered in stickles :-) I plugged in my sewing machine and zig zagged the edges, I am really liking sewing on cards and have a few more to show in the next few days !! The ribbon was in my drawer and I added a little Jingle Bell charm to ring in the New Year !! :-)

Samantha's Candy Challenge :-)

Samantha aka Penrith Crafts,my lovely Boss on the ABC Christmas Challenge, has a surprise candy on offer ,, all we have to do is join in with her challenge to make something ,,, BUT ,, not a card :-)

Well I have seen a couple of these faux leather wallets on buddies blogs and have been meaning to have a go at making one too. You can see the instructions here :-)



I used SU Lovely Lilac card and some stripey paper and brad from Papermania :-) I embossed the card with a Tim Holtz Burlap folder, inked with Dusty Concord distress ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I also got out my sewing machine for the edges . The instructions suggest using a magnet fastening ,,, which I tried but it wouldn't stay closed so I stuck a bit of velcro on it ,,, not very nice looking but it worked !! I remember someone else saying that they had the same problem too ,,,,sorry but I can't remember who it was now ! :-/ if you know who it was please let me know so I can link to her blog too xx
