New Kitten!!

Last night Amy left her bedroom door open for a few minutes while she popped next door to speak to her friend ( it opens into the driveway)then she went out for the evening and a kitten sneaked in without anyone noticing. I went downstairs, locked her door and switched her electric blanket on, not noticing a kitten amongst the pile of clothes n bags strewn on her bed !!When she came home at about 11 pm, this little kitten was all curled up n purring. She was full of fleas n tics and has half her tail missing and has a sore on her back leg !!!
Anyway , now she is all clean and de flea'd and her name is now Gypsy!! So that is cat No 7 !! What a nice Christmas present eh !!

Papertake Weekly and Cupcake Craft challenges

Hi, I made this for the cupcake weekly challenge, which was to use something printed on the card so I printed the words onto the ribbon on my computer. I thought the papertake weekly sketch was lovely so i used that to make this card :-)

Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday :-) We had a quiet day, me and my husband Ray and out 2 children for lunch , then friends came round in the evening. Nice relaxing day :-)though I did miss all my family and friends who live in the UK and my sister and family who live in Nijmegen ,Holland.

View from My Balcony

Hi, i just thought some of you might like to see what i can see from my balcony :-)This is one of my cats, Bob, he is completely deaf and was adopted from the Gozo SPCA, isn't he gorgeous:-). That is the mediterranean you can see in the distance !!:-)
This photo was taken by Kathi Childers, who, along with her husband Bert,stayed at our home and took care of out pets and kids while we were in Barcelona at the begining of December :-)

Penny Black Saturday/Caardvarks Challenges

Hi , I made this card for my sister-in-law's 60th birthday, she is always knitting so i thought this image would be 'fitting' for her !! I love the cordinations card, it is my favourite 'thing' at the moment , especially with the cuttlebug embossing folders and a bit of sandpaper :-)

Our Creative Corner Love Challenge

Hi , I made this card for the OCC challenge which was to make a card for someone you love, so this is a valentine's card for my DH Ray :-) ( He doesn t usually get one so he's in for a shock ha ha ) I borrowed this stamp from a friend, cos i was asked to make an elephant card for someone and i din t have one, so i thought i would use it for this too, as it still had ink on it !!! Anyway , I know it's VERY red/gold , but I did want to give an 'Indian luxurious' feel to it.I don't like the red heart I plonked on and will remove that,,,
I would love you HONEST opinions about this card , even if you hate it please tell me I NEED to know ha ha

House Mouse Monday Challenge

I made this card to enter the House Mouse Monday challenge and to be honest this is THE only house mouse stamp I have, I need to get more eh !! my wish list is getting longer n longer ,,,,
The challenge today was to use this sketch,and then give the card to someone in need.As I don't know anyone who i could give it to I will buy this card for myself and give a donation in memory of Joanne to a charity called 'Friends of the Sick and Elderly' which is a local charity in Gozo.

Penny Black Saturday and Sketch Saturday Challenge's

Hi, I made this card at 2 am,well,thats when I started it !! I am often awake during the night , think it maybe due to my biological clock being programmed for when I was working night duties! Anyway, instead of starting to make mince pies I thought I'd enter a challenge or 2. I have just bought this fab penny black stamp, evening glow, and was dying to use it :-)

Phone Card Holder

Hi, I made this phone card holder for the OCC Challenge and also for the Caardvarks challenge too. I made one a couple of weeks ago for a SCS challenge which you can see on my SCS gallery, the address is on my sidebar. You can see an instruction video here

Monochromatic gift box

Hi, I made this gift box for the Carrdvarks 'core' challenge and also for the papertake weekly challenge which is to use just one colour. The box is made with cordinations card which I sanded on the edges to reveal the colour in the core. Then I embossed a square piece of the card with a cuttlebug embossing folder and sanded the raised ridges. Then I layered everything with silver stardream card. The fan was made using black shrink plastic, the stamp is from Judikins , and I used beige brilliance ink.

My first OCC sketch challenge :-)

Hi, I made this card for the OCC sketch challenge. it is also my friend's birthday soon so i made this for her. The cat face is from Stampendous , I 3D'd the tongue but it doesn't show up too well on the photo, In real life it is sticking out :-) The text is done using the mixed alphabet set from hero arts. Saturday Sketch No 2

Hi , i really liked making a card using this sketch so i made another one :-) This time i used my new big shot and nestabilities to cut the circle shapes. The image is a penny black clear stamp from the Christmas critters set isn t he cute ;-) I also used a cuttlebug swirl embossing folder to emboss the cordinations card which i then sanded to let the core show through. The snowflakes are from hero arts and papermania.

Hi , I made this card for the sketch saturday challenge. The photo doesn t look so good , it's better in real life :-) I used the Penny Black little snowy as the main image and the text is penny black too.The ovals and embellishments were cut out on my cricut. Penny Black Challenge

Hi , I made this card for the Penny Black Challenge , week 26, which was to make a card using this sketch.
I used the PB brightest christmas stamp. The text stamp is a SeeDee's one from the christmas messages set. The DP is from HOTP,christmas lights and was a gift from my friend, thanks Alison :-)

Phone/gift card holder

Hi ,I made this phone card holder for the splitcoast stamper new technique challenge, you can find the instructions here
I used the 4 calling birds penny black stamp from the 12 days of christmas clear set, which i coloured with marvy le plume markers and white H2O's
The stripy gold background was stamped onto cream card using a judikins bollio
