Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit Cards

Oh my goodness, did you see the latest June 'Fly Me Away' Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp! It is GORGEOUS!! 

I made a couple of cards using the kit to share today.

 For this first one I stamped and white heat embossed the beautiful floral arrangement stamp directly onto the designer paper

I then stamped and coloured an individual flower and coloured using the watercolor paints in the kit plus a touch of Zig Marker Pens. I added a couple of strips of Washi Tape and White Metallic String and then added a vellum sentiment banner.

and I finished the inside by stamping the flowers using Archival Shadow Grey Ink and adding a sentiment. 

For my 2nd card I used the gorgeous  printed watercolour panel from Suzy Plantamura. I wanted to add some dimension to the panel so I carefully cut around the flowers and then coloured the panels. 

I went along the edge using a distress tool and then added a border of Prisma Glitter.

and I finished the inside.

Simon Says: Inspired By A Song

Hi all!Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

This week the theme is

Inspired By A Song

I was inspired by Summer Holiday by Cliff Richard and made a luggage tag for my next trip to the Bahamas! (not really ;-)) I remember singing this song in the car when we were on our way to the coast when we were kids, happy memories :-) 

I actually listened to this song while making the tag, you can listen in while scrolling down if you like! 

I used a Tim Holtz Beach Side Order Die and Embossing Folder Set to create a desert island scene  on a Tim Holtz Framelits Tag

I used Broken China and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks to colour the background and then used the embossing folder in the set to add the waves. I applied a little glue using a thin brush, and sprinkled with Prisma Glitter, lovely sparkle! 

I used a strip of card, coloured with Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey Inks and  die cut the sun, star fish and flip flop thongs from Simon's Exclusive Glitter Card. 

I added a couple of strips of Washi Tape and a few seagulls from a Simon's Exclusive Sea You Soon Set to finish ;-)

House Mouse and Friends Challenge:Mid Way Reminder

Hi all :-) I am here with a reminder to please join in with the House Mouse and Friends Challenge. This time the lovely Dorte is our hostess and the theme is

I am a big Gruffie fan so this time I thought I would color this super cute Wheel Bearrow Cling Stamp, sadly this stamp is now discontinued. 

I coloured with copic markers and added a few dabs of stickles here and there.

Congratulations Meghan and Harry!

With most of us having Royal Wedding fever I took a break from watching TV to make a quick congratulations card! 

I used a gorgeous Visible Image Grungy Union Jack Stencil and Worn Lipstick and Broken China Distress Oxide Ink 

I used a Tim Holtz Congratulations Sentiment and heat embossed in silver. I finished with some die cut hearts and silver string!

Simon Says Stamp 'Star Stream'

Have you seen the latest 'Sending Sunshine' release from Simon Says Stamp? Oh my goodness, it is full of all things gorgeous! 

I was sent a few samples to use and absolutely LOVE this Star Steam Die, isn't it fabulous! This is perfect for so many occasions! Perfect!

For this first card I also used a new Deco Diamonds Background Cling Stamp and white heat embossed to create a resist. I then blended Broken China Distress Oxide Ink over the top and splattered and spritzed with water. When it was dry I used the Star Steam Die to create the 'wave' and also used the die to cut out the design from Simon's Exclusive Teal Glitter Card 

I used a sentiment from a Simon's Exclusive 'Seeing Stars Clear Stamp Set and silver heat embossed. 

For my 2nd card I started with some watercolor paper and smooshed it in Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink.  I die cut the Star Steam from Simon's Lemon Chiffon Card and added a few dabs of Star Dust Stickles 

The sentiment is from the same Simon's Exclusive 'Seeing Stars Clear Stamp Set

And I finished the inside

Simon Says: Stencil It

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is 

Stencil It 

(coincidentally we have the same theme on the Monday Challenge so you could join in both if you like! ;-))

We are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Productsthis week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

 I used an Under The Sea Clear Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies, a Stitched Rectangle Die Set and a Waves Stencil  to make a super cute shaker and a matching envelope.

Tip: Before using a stencil spray the reverse side, very slightly, with Repositioning Spray Adhesive 

I started with some white watercolor paper and stencilled the waves with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink (what else!) and then spritzed and splattered with water. 

I coloured the sealife with Copic Markers and used the seaweed from Dina Wakley Scribbly Fishies set.
