 I used a 3 Oiseaux Cling Stamp to make a Valentines Card. I love these quirky adorable little birds, aren't they CUTE!! 

For the background I masked a flower from a Paper Artsy Zinsky Art Set  before smooshing  Distress Oxide Inks.  I used a Copic Multiliner to doodle some stitches around the edges and added a strip of  torn 'grass' across the bottom. 

and I finished the inside using another little bird from the set, aww what a cute little chick :-)

House Mouse' Glitter Hearts'

I am here with a card for the new challenge that has just started over on the House Mouse and Friends Challenge.
 This time the lovely Bunny is our hostess and the theme is 

ANYTHING GOES + the option of Sweets or Hearts 

I used a new and super cute Glitter Hearts Cling Stamp and made a faux shaker, faux meaning that there is nothing to shake inside ;-)

I coloured with Copic Markers and added Star Dust Stickles here and there 

and I finished the inside using a 'So Big' Cling Stamp

Simon Says: Resist It

This week we are challenging you to create something using a resist technique.

It is Amber's last week with us in the Designer Spotlight and we would like to say a huge thank you for all of your fabulous projects that you have shared with us over the past few weeks, It has been a great pleasure to have you along with us again !

My nephew has just bought his first home in Holland, quite an achievement, so I made thus card for him :-) Congratulations Niels!! He is a civil engineer so I thought something with a road on it would be appropriate ;-)

I made a card using a Tim Holtz Halftones Cling Stamp and White Embossing Powder to make a heat embossed resist background.

 I then blended Distress Oxide Inks for the sky and used Tim Holtz Cityscape Suburbia and Cityscape Commute to finish the scene.

and I used the excess ink left on the blending tools to make the inside.

Simon Says Stamp 'LOVE' Release

Woo Hoo!! A new 'LOVE'ly release from Simon Says Stamp!! This time it is all about LOVE!!, just in time for Valentine's Day!!

I made a couple of cards to share today using a couple of the new products, a gorgeous Breakfast Buddies Clear Stamp Set and a 'Perfection' Die Set 

For this first one I coloured the cute little images with Copic Markers and used a Nuvo Glitter Pen and Glossy Accents on the egg yolks 

 and I finished the inside colouring a little bit with pencils. 

For this 2nd one I used Candied Apple and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Inks for the background 

I die cut the base layer of the sentiment out of the card and inlaid the sentiment 'perfectly' ;-)  I used some Tim Holtz Label Letters to complete the sentiment and faux stitched around the edges using a Copic Multiliner Pen. To add more definition I also went around the edges of the die cut using the pen. 

I used the excess ink for the inside but then left it plain for a handwritten note of encouragement. The strive for perfection IS optional!! ;)

I am currently in Malta airport about to board a flight to on my way London where I have an overnight stop before travelling to Simon HQ on Friday!! SUPER EXCITED!!!
