Simon Says Stamp Wide Stripes

Hi all :-) It's time for a new theme over on the Papertake Weekly Challenge,,

STARS AND STRIPES 

I have recently picked up a brand new Simon's Exclusive Wide Stripes stamp and thought it would be perfect for this challenge so I had to give it an inking ! 

The stamping was a bit of an experiment and I love how it turned out ! I inked the stamp with archival black and then cleaned it,not very well though, leaving some of the ink on the stamp, and then inked with Audrey Blue ink and stamped onto Neenah cardstock, it gave a blotchy 2 tone effect which I loved. I then inked with Smoke Gray Ink and stamped again, overlapping slightly ( another accident :-))  I love how it made a narrow strip of white and an overlapping darker shade ,,, so glad I didn't bother with a stamp positioner :-)

I used a Lawn fawn Star die and glittered with Hero Arts Prisma and Glitter Ritz Glitters, I will link all the products I used at the bottom.

House Mouse Gifts to Tie

Hi all :-) Did you have a good weekend ?? I really enjoyed watching the Tour De France which set off from Leeds ,, it was lovely to see my home county showcased so beautifully. The weather was gorgeous and it was brilliant that so many thousands of people turned out to cheer the cyclists on ,, wish I was there :-) 

Did you see the yellow sheep ?? LOL ,, a farmer died all his sheep in honour of the event,  they all have a yellow jersey ,,, you have to love the Yorkshire sense of humour :-)

AND the finals of Wimbledon !  BRILLIANT !! ,, wish I was there too ,,,, :-) 

and as for the World Cup I am cheering on Holland :-)
