Today I have a set of 4 Bubble Parade cards to share. I am on a mission to create 4 cards using each of the new series of dies, ie Butterfly Drift, Diamond Parade, Cloud Bank, Bubble Parade and Star Parade. I have been really enjoying making these ,, a fun challenge to myself :-)

This weeks theme on the Wednesday Challenge is to make a shaker/confetti card. As you know I LOVE shaker cards so I made another one ;-)

TOP TIP ,, after getting it wrong SO MANY times, I have now had a lightbulb moment !! do not remove all the release paper from the foam tape when adhering the top layer to the base card. Leave one of the edges free so that you can add more shaker stuff,,,, without having to wreck your card if you haven't added enough,, or if you have added too much,,, you learn by your mistakes eh !! :-)

I splattered the background on this one ,,, looks so pretty :-)

The Lots of Dots stamp set goes really well with this die don't ya think ,,,, I love this one :-)

And last but not least I am featuring Simon :-) Don't you just LOVE him, sooo CUTE :-)

OK ,, now to make a start on the Star Parade set of cards :-)

SHAKE IT

So a shaker/confetti packet type element on your creation. There are several ways to create a shake you can make your own or buy ready made products that you can alter.

We are showcasing Simon's Exclusive Products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I used a Cloud Drift Die and Rainbow Color Stamp and Die Set and Simon's Exclusive Cardstock

While I had the supplies out I went ahead and made 4 variations :-)

First up is the shaker card, I love shakers,, so much fun !

I always add some Diamond Dust inside shakers, it is quite heavy and creates a lovely shaker sound :-)

I used some velum behind the clouds to soften the colour of the background card.

For this one I used an embossing folder to make the clouds dotty :-)

For this one I used the rainbow stamps and die, I think this would be nice for someone feeling 'Under the Weather' too :-)
