Penny Black Winter Fun ! :-)

Hi all, are you having a fabulous weekend ??  :-)

Did you see the cards that I made using the new Ornamental Noel stamp from Penny Black that are being showcased today over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog ??

NOO !! then head on over there to have a peek and you may just win one of Simon's Fabulous Grab Bags !! :-)

While I was on a Penny Black roll I made this card too :-) Penny Black were my first love when I started stamping, being introduced to them by my lovely friend, Alison, and I still love them today :-)

This card used a stamp from the Winter Fun Clear stamp set ,,, isn't she CUTE ! :-)

I stamped the image twice and shaped and layered her so she looks like a 'real' girl ,, haha :-)

see that fab strip of silver ,, I made that by fixing a strip of sookwang across the paper and sprinkled with glitter,, sookwang is a fabulous strong double sided sticky tape and is perfect for glittering EVERYTHING !

I am really enjoying making coordinating envelopes ! :-)

Thanks for looking :) I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)

Simon Says Stamp 'Large Merry Tree' :-)

Hi all  :-) Are you all ready for the weekend ?

My niece and her partner will be heading off to get married in NYC along with many family and friends :-) I am sure they will all have a fabulous time and WISH I WAS THERE :-)

Good Luck Laura and Chris :-) They actually get married on Tuesday but there will be a mass exodus from Manchester airport this weekend,, so you may wish to avoid the area if you were planning a trip ,,,, haha :-)

I made this card using several of the new Simon Says Stamp Exclusive Products but the main focus is the Large Merry Tree designed by the lovely Kristina Werner :-)

This card took me ages ,,, I faffed about ALOT with this ,, do you do that or do you plan your cards ahead ,,, I should do that :-)

I stamped the tree with Iced Spruce DI then smothered with clear emboss ink then sprinkled with sticky embossing powder, heated, then sprinkled with Rock candy Distress Glitter ,,, It looks fabulously icy IRL :-) I used a new Snowflake stencil to make the background, using Stormy Sky and Iced Spruce DI then spaying with water. I then stamped and heat embossed white snowflakes.

The only other thing to point out is the silver bow, that was cut out of silver tape.

The photo's really don't capture the sparkle and crystalline effects on this ,,pity, cos it really looks fab IRL ,,, even if I do say so meself :-)

Thanks for looking, I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)

Wild Rose Studio ,,,, Building a Snowman

Good Morning all, how are you today ? I hope all is well with everyone :-)

I love the whole new release from the Wild Rose Studio and I made this card using the 'Building a Snowman' image

I created the background using various dies and a fab stencil. I will link all the products I used at the bottom of this post. THANKS AMERICA for the lovely American Crafts twine :-)

Here is an arty angle ,,,, you can see the dimension on this but it will still fit in a normal envelope. I LOVE the flower soft trims on her coat too,, very fluffy and am sure it's keeping her very warm

Thanks for looking and I love reading your comments so please leave me one :-)
