Less Is More on a Spiffy Scooter :-)

Hi all :-) well I am back again with another Paper Smooches card :-) When I saw that the theme over on the Less Is More Challenge was masking I thought I would break open my new set and have a play :-)

I used my new Spiffy Scooters set that I just HAD to have !! It is my niece’s 21st birthday soon and she has a scooter so I thought this would be a perfect image for her card ( which is not this one ) … just in case she reads this !! :-)

I stamped the scooter with memento ink and masked it, I then tore a post it note to create another mask for the ground. I then used Pumice Stone Distress ink to swirl on some colour, I removed the ground mask and then stamped the clouds and puffs of smoke :-) I coloured with Copics and paper pieced the flowery DP . The sentiment came with the set.

Thanks for looking :-) I am also entering this into the Paper Smooches GD call so wish me luck !! Smile

Paper Smooches GD call :-)

Happy St Patricks day !!! :-)I hope you're all having a lovely weekend ,, are you going to any mad parties ?? There are quite a few 'Guiness Fest's' going on here ,,but I think I will give them a miss :-)

I just saw a GD call for April over on the Paper Smooches blog and thought I would throw my hat in too :-)

I used a very cute Folkal Points set, I randomly stamped the little chicks and then stamped an extra chicken onto separate card, coloured with Copics, cut out and adhered with a pop dot for extra dimension, I then added some flower soft to his feathers and glossy accents on his beak and eye :-) I also popped a sun in the corner and sparkled with Star Dust stickles

The whole green panel is also raised on foam tape and I punched the edge of the card with a Martha Stewart border. The sentiment was made using a Lawn Fawn alphabet set ( sorrry I don’t have a Paper Smooches one) :-)

Thanks for looking and hope you have a fab weekend !! :-)

As you know I have just got back from the UK and I did have a lovely time meeting up with the lovely Mandy, aka Crafty Fox Cards, she, and her hubby took me to a craft shop on the outskirts of Oxford and I treated myself to some lovely goodies. They brought along their gorgeous dog, Jack too :-),, sooo cute ! I also met up with Jo, aka Rambling Boots and we had a lovely wander around the shops and lunch in London :-) So they really made my birthday special. For my card I followed Michelle’s fab sketch on the Sketch and Stash Challenge. I used this very cute Party Fergus from the Wild Rose Studio. I coloured him with Copics and inked the edges with a pink chalk ink from Colorbox. The papers are also from the Wild Rose Studio, the gingham is from the Wintry Christmas pack and the spotty from a Girly Polka Dots pack. I added some Robins Nest Dew Drops, lots of Star Dust Stickles and a neglected orange spotty ribbon that I have had for ages and never used.
