Papertake Weekly ,,, I’m Dreaming Of ,,,,,

Hi all :-) Hope you’re all fit and well and almost ready for Christmas :-)

This week on the Papertake Weekly Challenge we have a really nice theme this week ,,

I’m Dreaming of a ,,,,,,,, what colour would you like YOUR Christmas to be ??

We are sponsored by the lovely Katharina from Whiff Of Joy so a lovely prize o offer for one lucky entrant !

My fave colour is blue and I also love silver ( or white gold ,,, hint hint hubby !!! ) :-) Oohh a white gold ring with sapphires ,, and matching pendant and earrings ,,,,, lol ,,, well ,, a girl can dream can’t she !! :-)

I made all the shimmery silver card used for matting by inking white card with Pumice Stone DI and brushing Perfect Pearl over the top.

The image is from an unmounted Fireplace House Mouse set, isn’t he cute munching on a biscuit ,,,, awww :-) Coloured with Copics and I layered the candle and plate for added dimension. I made the background by stamping various snowflakes from a Lawn Fawn set and heat embossing with Hero Arts white EP, I then inked with Stormy Sky DI. I used Martha Stewart Snowflake and Icicle punches and added a Sea Dot to the centre of the snowflake. The lovely silver glitter mesh ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl :-)

Thanks for looking :-) our lovely GD’s and the DT have made some gorgeous cards for your inspiration so hop on over to the PTW to see them :-)

Less Is More ,,,,,,,

Hi all :-) did you all have a fab weekend ?? I managed to make a couple more cards and decorate the tree ,,, tomorrow it is making mince pies ,,, busy busy ,,,,,

I made this card for the Less Is More Challenge whose theme is One Layer and Snowflakes, I started by tearing a piece of paper and using it to mask the top and bottom of the card. I then punched a few snowflakes and used these as a mask ,, then sprayed with a blue copic marker using my airbrush. I then stamped a few snowflakes randomly,,,, now this is where it went horribly wrong ,,,, I smudged one !!! HORROR .... sooo as it is a one layer I wasn't allowed to plonk a sentiment over the top of it ,,,, so after a little wondering what shall I do next ,,, I just punched out the offending black blob, added a Hero Arts sentiment and a few gems to finish.

quick n easy and if I need any last minute ones I might just make a few more like this ,,,,,

Thanks for looking ,,,, off to make a cuppa now :-)

I used this very cute Changito Graduation image from Stampendous , very easy to colour , just a couple of Copics and voila !! Fuzzy and Warm ,,,,,, :-)

Hi all :-) I am back from my little holiday to the UK, well ,, it wasn’t a holiday really ,,, more a trip home to see my family and do a little bit of Christmas shopping :-)

While I was there I bought a fab new dinky camera and some proper lights for my lightbox, so hopefully my piccy’s will be better !! ALSO I found a little mini hair straightener in Boots with 1/3rd off so it was only £10 ,,, works brilliantly as a ribbon iron !!

I feel very rusty, having had a couple of weeks of from making anything, so I decided to get back into it by making a nice n easy House Mouse card :-) The challenge over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge is ,,,

FUZZY AND WARM , if you haven’t entered yet you still have loads of time as it is open until 1st January :-)

I followed the fab sketch over on the Midnight Madness Challenge, America, on behalf of the HM&F Monday Challenge is sponsoring so some FAB House Mouse stamps on offer ,,, neither of which I have so I will be keeping me paws crossed :-)

I used an unmounted stamp from a Fireplace Christmas set, isn’t this cute !! Scoopy used this stamp recently and I loved her card so I HAD to ink this one up :-) I coloured with Copics and added Polar White flower soft to the pom-poms and trims and added Star Dust stickles here and there. The papers are Basic Grey from an Eskimo Kisses pack and I added some Martha Stewart punched holly, Jillibean Soup twine and a Hero Arts Blush Dot. I stamped extra sweeties and popped them up on Pop Dots.

Debby gave me a fab tip ages ago about using an embossing tool on the reverse side of the image to round the images and these sweeties really do look real !!

The sentiment was in the set and I used a Spellbinders ribbon tag die to cut it out. I sprayed with a copic marker using an air brush. think thats all ,,,,, Smile

Thanks for popping by my blog and looking, I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-) xx
