Stamp Something ,,,,,,,,Celebration Hop and Anything Goes !!! :-)

The theme this week is ANYTHING GOES !!

For my card I used a Hero Arts Eggshell Note card for the base some very cute new Hero Arts stamps using images from the Life of the Party Cutouts and Life of the Party Birthday stamp sets. What little colouring there is was done with copics and I added star dust stickles for sparkle :-) The papers are Jillibean Blossom Soup ( my current faves !! ) and I just added a few Hero Arts black pearls to finish

Now I know this looks simple but it took me AGES to make ,,, lol ,, lots of faffing about ummin and arrin !!

This is not my usual style and I wasn’t very sure whether I liked it or not but Amy ( my 17 yr old arty daughter) thought it was ‘HIP’ so I am using it instead of starting again

Totally Papercrafts ,,,,, Anniversary Challenge

Hi all :-) Before moving on to the challenge I would like to congratulate Heidi and Jason, the owners of Simon Says Stamp on the birth of their new baby daughter Abigail Ann :-)

What a palaver in blogger !! Lets hope the problems are now fixed !!

For my card I decided to use my new Penny Black stamps ,, the Eiffel Tower, sentiment and bunnies are from the J’aime set :-) I coloured them with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky distress ink. The papers are Prima, Sparkling Spring papers and I used my new Spellbinders Large Inverted Scalloped and Beaded Circle dies. I also used a Martha Stewart Scalloped Heart and border punch. The ribbon was in my drawer and I added a charm and robins nest dew drops and loads of star dust stickles to finish

Just For fun Card :-)

I won a choice of 7 Bugaboo digi stamps on the Corrosive Challenge last week and ‘Tequila’ is one of the stamps I chose :-)

I followed the fab sketch on the Sketch Saturday challenge, coloured the image with Copics and used a Spellbinders circle to cut her out ,,, making sure her boots were cut out first and not underneath :-) The papers were a RAK from America and I embossed some plain white card with a Cuttlebug Happy Birthday folder. I then inked all the edges with Pumice Stone distress ink and added star dust stickles for sparkle,I was going for a dark nightclub sort of look :-)

I stamped some Hero Arts flag stamps to create the banner and sprayed them with Diamond Glimmer Mist . I used Glossy Accents on her wine glass ( I coloured that before I remembered she was drinking tequila ! ), boots, glasses and earrings.

This card is for my niece’s 30th B’day ( I hope she doesn’t see this !! ) and when I showed it to Amy she said ,,, you can’t send her that !! she looks like a pole dancer !! WELL !! THAT is EXACTLY the look i was going for ,, SUCESS !!

This is her on a recent hen night I REALLY hope she doesn’t see this !!!!

CAS card for a couple of challenges

Morning all :-) I hope you’re all fit and well xx

I love the CAS style ,, I am not very good at it but am trying and it seems there are a few challenge blogs appearing now to give us more help and inspiration :-)

I made this card following the fab sketch on the Clean and Simple Stamping Challenge and also the CAS-usl Fridays where the challenge is to use text. Well ,,, I just HAD to use my new Lawn Fawn Just My Type stamps !!

I stamped the typewriter image onto card and Basic Grey Manila paper to use for paper piecing. I coloured a little bit with copics and used Glossy Accents on the keys. I used the same paper to stamp the background using a Herto Arts Friend Definition stamp. The darker papers are also Basic Grey from a Kraft paper pad. I used a SU border punch and finished with a ribbon and button from my drawer and some American Tag twine.

For my card I used this very cute Happy Hoppers Love Bunny stamp ( as did Christine and Jo ,, very popular stamp this week ) I coloured the image with copics, cut out with a Spellbinders circle die and inked the edges with some pink chalk ink. The papers are from Kaiser Crafts Lullaby pad. The flowers are punched with my fab new Mc Gill Buttercup punch, these were edged with the pink chalk ink too and embossed with a Swiss Dots folder . The center flowers were made with a Nellie Snellen Punch and Emboss set and Stamen punch I popped a pearl in the center to finish ( Here’s a tip ,, if you haven’t seen the Nellie Snellen page in the store ,, go for a peep ,, I love everything in there ,, the stamps are GORGEOUS !! ) .

Close up piccy's, don't you just LOVE the expression of the proud Mummy and her little bundle of joy :-) Makes your heart melt eh !! aww :-)

I used a Martha Stewart Pansy Punch around the page, added a little shoe charm and the sentiment was made using a Spellbinders ribbon slide and Simon Says Stamp Exclusives sentiment.

ABC Christmas ,,, J for Joy Fold Challenge

Hi all and hope all is well with you all and you’re all enjoying the milder weather.

This week we have 3 fab GD's joining us for May ,,, Heidi , Carol, and Miria , welcome aboard girls :-)

We are already onto ‘J’ on the ABC Christmas Challenge and this time it is Helen’s turn to choose the theme and she chose Joy Fold AND she has made a fabulous tutorial to make things easy for you :-)

For my card I used 2 House Mouse stamps :-) For the front cover I used a I Cane Count On You stamp, coloured with copics and stickled with star dust. The papers are Pink Paisley Father Christmas and were a pressie from Scoopy and Joey from Crafty Emma’s Store. I used a Bottle Cap Ink flattened chrome cap and the sentiment is from LOTV stamp set.

For the inside I used a Santa’s Little Helper stamp and a Penny Black We Wish You sentiment.

I made an easel card and used this lovely Penny Black Clear stamp image from the J’aime set. I coloured the image with copics, inked the edges with Dusty Concord distress ink and decoupaged the cake . The papers are Kaiser Crafts and I used my fab new Martha Stewart Pansy punch around the page, I also used a Martha Stewart Scalloped border punch and scalloped heart punch. I used a lttle ribbon from my stash and a ribbon slider from Crafty Emma Store. The lovely pin was a RAK from Joey xx

For my card I used this lovely One Mouse Band stamp. I coloured with copics and inked the edges with stormy sky distress ink. The papers are Prima Sparkling Spring ( a gift from Scoopy and Joey from Crafty Emma’s Store xx) The flowers were made using Nellie Snellen Punch and Emboss set ,,, here's a close up ,, I love these ! I popped in some black pearls into the center :-)



and I used a Martha Stewart border punch. The sentiment is from SU and in retrospect I should have just added a bow instead ,,, I used some ribbon from my drawer and some star dust stickles and a few Robins Nest Dew drops o finish

Hi all , Hope you’re having a lovely weekend :-) The sun is shining and its almost G&T time !! YAY :-)

Oohh Mandi and Chrissie have come up with another diffy challenge this week over on the Less Is More ,,, the fact that they make it look soo easy is irrelevant !! This card has been dismantled several times and I now have a bin full of disasters !! :-)

I am happy with my end result tho ,,, its marvelous what some glitter can do to lift things I think !!



I used my TH Tattered Floral Dies, the larger flower is too big to use on a card with images ( I think ) so this is the first time I have used it ( I think ) ! I also used a TH Flourishes die for the stalk. I added some Star Dust stickles and a white card candy ,,, I added a Martha Stewart butterfly and border punch ,,, some ribbon that was on my ‘Wedding ‘ hat last week ( along with red and blue ) and a few pearls . I could only fit 3 letters on my sentiment oval so Mum it is !!

OK ,,, just off to pour a tall glass of G&T and then I will be round to see what fabulous white creations our fellow Limettes have been creating !! See ya soon xx

Hi all ,, oohh the weekend is almost here !! YAY !! We will be going out for a ‘Mother’s Day’ lunch :-) I hope you are all planning a relaxing Mother’s day too ,,, except you lot in the UK who have already had your day off this year lol :-)

For my card I was given a choice of images from Sassy Studio Designs and I chose this fab Martini Pin Up, isn’t she sexy !! I followed the fab sketch on the Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge, coloured her with copics and gave her a glittered shrug,, on the stamp she is ‘supposed’ to have long gloves and bare shoulders :-) The patterned paper is Jillibean Blossom Soup, my latest faves, and SU Old Olive , perfect !! I added some ribbon and a slider ( a RAK from Joey) and made the flowers with a Nellie Snellen punch and emboss set . The sentiment is from a My Favorite Things Time for the Bubbly set and I finished with a few ‘diamonds’ !!
