Meet Phoebe :-)

As some of you may know we have been busy painting and decorating Amy's room and this little stray turned up at Amy's door (her bedroom is on the ground floor) and she decided she liked the food on offer and decided to stay :-) She has enormous eyes ,, probably she had cat flu and survived. So she is number 7 !!! If anyone would like to send bags of cat food they would be gratefully received ha ha ha :-)

I bought this cute I Cane Count on You House Mousestamp a while ago and have finally got around to inking :-) isn't it CUTE !! :-) I coloured the image with copics and inked the edges with a cream pigment ink and heat embossed with Hero Arts Sparkle powder. I added star Dust .stickles and Crystal glitter for loads of sparkle The papers are from the Echo Park Merry Christmas Kit . I used a little organza ribbon from my drawer and the lovelt tree charm was a gift from HM& Friends teamie, America :-) I also added a few red pearls from Bunny Zoe Crafts



Did I tell you I found mouse droppings under my kitchen sink ?? Brave little things eh coming into a house with 7 cats,, well 6 cats and a new addition kitten !! Anyway ,, I set a humane trap and yesterday morning there were 2 in there ,,, poor little things were scared to death !! At least they had some lovely Italian panetone and chocolate to eat while they were waiting to be set free :-)

For my card i used my new Hero Arts Reindeer stamp. I coloured it with Copics and added a dab of red stickles to his nose ,,, it doesn't show up very much but it is there :-) The papers are from My Minds Eye and SU Chocolate Chip for matting. I used a Martha Stewart Himalayan Snowflake punch and Icicle punch and 2 woodware snowflake punches too. I used a glue pen to draw over the antlers and sprinkled with Art Institute Pewter ultrafine glitter ,,Pewtwr is OOS at the moment but it will be in stock soon :-) I then went a bit mad and added this glitter everywhere ,, it is gorgeous and so sparkly !! the sentiment is also from a Hero Arts set and the ribbon slider is from a Nellie Snellen Rectangle die

Simon Says ,,,,,,, Domi's Sketch :-)

Good Morning all, hope that you are warm and cosy wherever you are :-)

We didn't quite manage to get to 500 entries last week ,,, so we will keep trying !! :-)

This week Domi has made this fab sketch for us all to follow ,, I love this and have decided to start a mass production line to make several cards using this design :-)

Heidi will be giving one lucky entrant a $50 SPREE to her Simon Says Stamp Store WOO HOO !!!



The DT have all used Basic Grey products this week too, you don't have to to enter the challenge but if you have any we would love to see them used :-)

I used my fab new Hero Arts Snowy Night cling stamp. I stamped it with black pigment ink onto some script Basic Grey paper from the Jovial paper pad. I then sprinkled with black sparkle embossing powder and heated ,, this looks lovely IRL The papers are all from the same paper pad and I used black card for matting. I used some cream ribbon, a snowflake charm and some silver Robins Nest Fairytale Dew Drops to finish. The photo doesn't do this card justice, it looks flat and boring ,, but the sparkle is really lovely IRL ,,you will just have to take my word for it :-)

We had loads of fabulous entries to our Cut It Out challenge last week, thanks to everyone who joined in.

I decided to make a gate fold card this week :-)



I recently bought this fab Gruffie with Box of Ornaments and thought he needed an inking :-) here he is bringing a box of baubles to the Footloose and Fancy Free mice to decorate the tree,, but those naughty mice have other ideas of what to do with them !!! :-) I coloured the images with my trusty copics and added star dust stickles here and there. The papers are gorgeous Basic Grey Jovial Collection, I do like to buy the 12X12 pads, I find them better value for money. I used a lovely Prima Poinsettia flower and a couple of Robins Nest Dew Drops the sentiment is from a LOTV set.

Altered Matchboxes :-)

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends on the other side of the pond :-) Hope you all have a lovely day with your family and friends :-)

Tammy our teamie on the Totally Papercrafts Challenge challenged us to decorate a matchbox and fill it with crafty goodies for another teamie :-) I was paired up with Joey and this is the box I made for her.



I used my new Hero Arts Down the Chimney stamp and attempted to make it look like Santa was descending into the box delivering pressies ,,, that was my theme anyway !! lol :-)The papers are from a Basic Grey Jovial pad and I used a Martha Stewart Icicle punch and Himalayan snowflake punch. The sentiment is also from a Hero Arts sentiment set and a Digi one made by Tammy. I used black glitter on his boots and crystal glitter everywhere else and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops too. The drawer handle is a Tim Holtz Hitch Fastener

The next box was made for Joey's Daughter, Syd,,, who is also very crafty :-) For this one I used My Minds Eye papers and the image and snowflakes are the die cuts that came with the 12X12 pad. I added glitter to her coat trims for sparkle :-) I added a few Dew Drops and the drawer handle is a pearl brad.

Oh wow !!! I LOVE glitter and sparkle and I am in good company !! YOU all do too !! YAY !! we had 466 entries last week and I am on a mission to reach 500 this week ,,, will you help ??? I coloured the image with Copics and added loads of Star Dust Stickles for sparkle ,,, wish they sold this in large bottles !! I inked around the edge with Stormy Sky Distress ink and used this for the snowflake too.The papers are Echo Park Merry Christmas ones ,, I love these :-) I used a Martha Stewart snowflake border punch and Himalayan snowflake punch . I also used a Spellbinders Snowflake Wonder die too. the sentiment is also a HM Christmas wishes one

I used another of my lovely new SWALK stamps, this one is called 'After the Rain', isn't she cute ! :-) I coloured her with Copics and decoupaged her brolly. I inked around the edge with a turquoise pigment in and then added my fave Star Dust Stickles to the edges, rain and puddle. I used a little Glossy Accents to her buttons too. The papers are Basic Grey Olivia and i used a Martha Stewart Border punch and leaf punch, a few Robins Nest Dew drops, some Prima flowers and a rose from Wild Orchid Crafts. the sentiment came with the stamp and I used my scissors to cut around it ,, so don't look too closely :-)

I decorated mine very simply compared to some of my teamies !! I just went with the thought that this will be going in the post and not handed to the recipient, and it will definitely be going air mail !! I used this gorgeous Butterfly Express image that was in a set by Joanna Sheen. I coloured it with copics and added a little star dust stickles. I won the postage stamp on a challenge a long time ago and can't remember who made it ,,, so if anyone knows can you tell me :-) I used an air mail stamp that I bought in a stationers and is well used ,,, the address was added in picasa and is not actually written on the envelope :-)



I used the small butterlfy from the HM set on the envelope flap and the sentiment was in the same challenge win :-)

My goodness ,, the time is just flying by ,,, not many weeks left to Christmas and I have done NOTHING in preparation ,,, thank goodness I have been making Christmas cards all year, at least I have a few of those. On saying that, I am going to try to sell as many of them as I can to raise funds for the Gozo SPCA and if I sell them ,,I will buy the SPCA Charity cards for family and friends :-) After all it is all for a good cause eh and every little helps !! :-)

Anyway ,,, time for another fab sketch designed by the lovely Sue and don't forget to tell us what your new or unused stash is :-)

For my card I used this lovely LOTV Collecting the Tree stamp, coloured with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky Distress ink . I then used Star Dust Stickles and Diamond Dust for sparkle. The papers are very old and neglected Papermania ones ,, these are from a blue set ,, not sure what they were called, I also embossed some white card with a cuttlebug folder and inked with Stormy Sky Distress ink I used a Martha Stewart border punch and snowflake punch and a small Woodware snowflake punch too. I added some ribbon from my drawer and a few glimmer dots to finish :-)

WINTER BIRTHDAYS

I have several birthdays to make cards for in the days around Christmas so this was a perfect theme for me :-) Don't forget you need to have a bear of furry friend as the main image on your card :-)

For my card I used this very cute Santa's Puppy Helper stamp from Whimsey Stamps I LOVE this stamp designed by Meljen ,, cute eh !! :-) I coloured the image with Copics and Prismacolor pencils, then inked around the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. the papers are from the Basic Grey Jovial pad. I used a Martha Stewart Happy Birthday punch and a Fiskars border punch too. I added some Robins Nest Dew Drops, some ribbon from my drawer and a Basic Grey button to finish.
