House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge ,,, HALLOWEEN

Good Morning :-) it's time for a new theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge. It was Scoopy's turn to choose the theme for this fortnight and she chose Halloween

Now I didn't have any Halloween stamps ( I gave mine away in a candy and forgot to replace it !! :-/) so my lovely teamie Sue Drees came to my rescue and sent me some images by express mail ,,, thanks Sue ,,BUT ,, Christine and Mary have both made absolutely AMAZING creations using general House Mouse stamps,, so even if you don't have any specific stamps it is still possible to join in

We are being sponsored by the lovely Heidi at Simon Says Stamp so a choice of House Mouse, Gruffie or Happy Hoppper stamp for one lucky entrant :-)

The image I used for my card is called Just Clowning Around and the one I used on the candy bucket is called Sweet Friends I coloured them with copics and inked the edges with black soot distress ink. The papers are from Funky Fairys and are unfortunately not available any more,, shame ,, they are fab !! I did a few faux stitches around the edges too. The gorgeous bats , spiders and punched cats are all a RAK from teamie Christine :-) I made the Trick or Treat charm using shrink plastic and a Studio G clear stamp.



I cut the candy bucket on my Cricut and added a few Snickers ,,, unfortunately they disappeared shortly after the piccy was taken :-)

Sketch and Stash Challenge

I had a lovely weekend ,,, hardly did anything ,, spent a few hours in my craft room and all my DT cards are ready for this week !! woo hoo ! Now I will have a look see and see what challenges I am going to enter next ,,, Pink Tilda is on my agenda :-)

For my card I used this lovely new LOTV image ,, from the Merry Christmas set I coloured the image with copics and added the compulsory Star Dust Stickles here and there :-) The paper is old and neglected from Papermania. The fancy corners are die cuts made using Spellbinders Photo Corners I also used a Cuttlebug embossing folder that I won in Cathy's candy :-)

A Card for Daniel

I made this card for a special 13year old boy called Daniel :-) His mum is Claire aka Crafty C's Crafting Library I hope he likes it !!

I followed the fab sketch on the Sugar Bowl Challenge , it is ages since I joined in but I am going to make it a point from now on ,,, I have lots of lovely Sugar Nellies and I need to ink them up more often !! :-)



This is Luca ,, I just went to the Funky Kits website and couldn't find a link for this stamp but am sure he will be there somewhere :-) I coloured him with Copics and inkled the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. The papers are Basic Grey Oliver paper pad. The button is also from Basic Grey and I used a music note eyelet. For the sentiment I used a Spellbinders ribbon tag and a Simon Says Stamp sentiment.

Just Cute Bears AND FRIENDS Sketch Challenge

Sunday morning and unfortunately no lie in ,,, the hunters are out in force shooting at everything that flies ,, it was a barrage of gunshot in the fields around my house ,,, terrible !! I dread to think how many poor birds died or were left mortally wounded ,,,
Anyway ,,, moving on ,,,,

The challenge for the next fortnight on the Just Cute Bears AND FRIENDS Challenge is a FAB sketch by Helen,,, did you notice the change in name ,,, yes you can now use other furry friends on your cards/creations :-)

For my card I used this lovely Milton and Robin stamp from the Wild Rose Studio. I coloured him with copics and added the compulsory Star Dust Stckles here and there ,, the icy snow on the bottom panel is Diamond Dust. The papers is from papermania and the Grey is HOTP

I decided to make a Christmas card because I have made a Thanksgiving card already :-) I followed the fab sketch on the Friday Sketchers Challenge. I used my lovely Magnolia Snowy with Snowflake stamp, coloured with copics and Diamond Dust and Star Dust Stickles added for sparkle :-) The papers are a free download from the lovely Martine's blog ,,, these are from last year so you may need to scroll back a bit ! :-) The snowflake is a Spellbinders die cut ,,, this must be one of my best buy's ,, I use this all the time !!



edited ,,OH NO !!! I justr realised that I forgot to add some polar white flower soft to his hat !! I was waiting for the stickles to dry before adding it ,, and then I forgot !! It is already in the post to Vera ,,, so ,, Vera , when it arrives can you please just add sparkle to his hat for me :-) ,, thanks xx

Wild Rose Studio DT Card

I made this card a couple of weeks ago and forgot to show it to you !!!

This is Fergus with Bouquet from the Wild Rose Studio



I coloured him with copics and addded Star dust Stickles here and there . The papers and sentiment are from Wild Rose Studio too ,,, these are from the Milton Christmas Pack The flowers are a mix of Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts and the border punch is by Martha Stewart :-)

Stamp Something ,,,,,,, DIGI

WOW !! We had loads of fabulous entries to our Halloween Challenge ,, some were very scarey ,, almost scared me to death some of 'em and some were definitely TOO cute to spook ,, Tilda couldn't scare a flea could she,,, bless !!! :-)

Anyway ,, another week has flown by and it is time to get ready for a lovely weekend of crafting !!

It is now time to Stamp Something ,,,, DIGI !!
Yes ,, no ink and rubber this week ,,, turn on your computers and print an image :-)

I was given a choice of images from the Digi Doodle Shop AND I wanted to use a stamp from their Christmas Assortment,,, so they sent me the whole set !! How nice is that of them !! :-)

I printed the image and then printed it again onto patterned paper to paper piece the box ,,, so much easier than colouring :-)) the image was coloured with copics and added a little star dust stickles on the ribbon. I decoupaged the baubles and holly too and popped them out a little with silicone glue. the flowers are a mix of Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. I used a Martha Stewart Icicle punch and holly leaf punch and a little navy blue satin ribbon and few glimmer dots to finish.

Totally Papercrafts ,,, Stick a Number on It

For my card I followed the fab sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge I chose this fab JJ 5 O'clock image and sentiment. I coloured her with Copics and added pearls in her hair and glimmer dot earrings. The papers are Papermania from the Capsule Collection and I used some black card too. The flowers were made using a set of Nellie Snellen Punch and Emboss punches and a few Robins Nest Dew Drops.

I used my lovely Sarah Kay Time for Apple Pie image ,, this was THE first Sarah kay stamp I bought and I still love her :-) I coloured her with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky distress ink The papers are Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg ,,, I love these, perfect for Autumn :-) The flowers were made using a set of Nellie Snellen flower punches which are fab because they punch and emboss too ,, brilliant !! I also used a Martha Stewart leaf punch ,,and I added Robins Nest Dew drops in the centers. The ribbon was a gift from teamie Debby,, thanks xx and I bought this apple charm especially to use with this image :-)



I added some Glossy Accents to the apples which shows quite well on this piccy :-) the tag was cut out on my Cricut I inked it with Stormy Sky ink then edged it with Vintage Photo the leaves are stamped with Desert Sand memento ink using a Stampendous clear stamp The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set

I followed the fabulous sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge, I rotated it and went a bit wrong ,, but i think it is close enough ,,, hope so !! :-)
I used this lovely Tilda With Pumpkin image that was an image from a blog buddy ,, I really need to get some Halloween stash !! I coloured the image with Copics , cut her out and popped her on a background I had made using distress inks ( brushed concord, stormy sky and black soot). Amy drew the spooky tree ( all the money for art lessons has finally paid off lol ) and the Scary Cat is a Tim Holtz (TH) stamp. The papers are from the Magnolia So Spooky Halloween set. I made the charm with black shrink plastic, White Stazon and a TH Skull stamp from the Anthology set the ticket is also made using a TH ticket die cut and stamp from the TH Odds and Ends set

Woo Hoo !! I was thrilled when Denise asked me to be a Guest Designer on the blog hop for the new release of Meljen Designs Rubber Stamps from Whimsey Stamps

I am combining this hop with my DT card for the Stamp Something Challenge too ,, our theme this week is

PUNCH SOMETHING !! (am keeping my mouth firmly closed here lol)

I was given this GORGEOUS Holly Beary Fairy stamp to use ,,,, isn't this fab !! I do love all Melissa's designs tho ,, such a talented designer !! I just hope she likes my effort !! :-)

I decided to make an easel card and gift box. I coloured the image with Copics and used My Minds Eye Christmas paper pack. I inked the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink and added star dust stickles here and there :-) I used my new EK Success border punch and the Poinsettia flowers are from Prima . I also added glossy accents to the berries :-)



I used the same MME papers for the box, cut out the tag on my Cricut , inked the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. I stamped the image, coloured her then cut her out and fixed her onto the tag with pop dots. The sentiment is from Hero Arts
