Simon Says ,,,,, It's time to Move it Move it

My son, Sean, jsut passed his driving test so I made this card for him,, he took one look at it and said ,,, lovely ,,, don't write in it tho cos I don't want it !!! Kids eh !! :-)



I made a T Slider card while watching the 'How to Do it' video on You Tube. Not easy tho and it is all reinforced with allsorts after I scored it in the wrong places !! The image I used is a new one (for me) I have just fallen in love with these Changito Monkeys by Stampendous ,,, aren't they fab,,, sooo cute !! :-) I coloured the image with copics and masked it, then sprayed with blue with my fab Copic Air Brush, then decoupaged it too. The papers are Basic Grey Oliver paper pad and I used a Martha Stewart border punch and added a few Robins Nest Dew Drops.



The sentiment is also a stampendous one, which is really for the Graduation Changito , which I also got, but it works just as well for this image :-)

For my card I used the lovely Playing Dress Up House Mouse stamp. I love all my stamps but this one is a special fave ,, I have used this cutie ALOT !! I coloured the image with copics and inked the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink. The papers are Basic Grey from the Capella paper pad and beige coredinations. I used a Martha Stewart border and a leaf punch and the flower is a Prima Lilliput rose ,,GORGEOUS!! I used a little American Tag hemp twine and a heart charm, a few Robins Nest Dew drops and an organza bow to finish :-)

For my card I used the very cute One Mouse Band House Mouse stamp. I coloured him with copics and decoupaged the 'trumpet' flower, I inked the edges with Dusty Concored distress inks.The papers are new Papermania Henbury Lane ones and purple coredinations which I sanded. The ribbons were in my stash. I used my gorgeous new Nellie Snellen flower and emboss punches to make the flowers and used blue moon glass pearls in the center.

Just Cute Bears Photo Inspiration Challenge

My 2nd GD card for the Just Cute Bears Challenge ,,,, this week Cathy's 2 girls chose a beautiful peacock image for us get inspiration from ! (Photo below)



For my card I followed last weeks fab sketch on the LOTV Challenge ,, I didn't realise it was now a weekly sketch lol !! :-) I used a new LOTV stamp ,,, soo cute !! I coloured the image with copics and added a little star dust stickles here and there and added glossy accents to the baubles. The backing paper is a handmade paper I bought in Venice and I must admit I was very reluctant to cut into it ,,, but I though it was perfect for the inspiration !! I also used gold stardream card which I embossed with a star folder. The flower and bauble are from a Tim Holtz Prima Limited edition collection ,,, gorgeous these are ! The sentiment is also from a LOTV sentiment set and I used some ric-rac from my drawer.

Wild Rose Studio DT card + a few of challenges :-)

A quick post today as I have lots of things to do and very little time to do them in !! ,,,

Dulcie from the Wild Rose Studio (WRS)sent me this gorgeous Fergus with Bouquet stamp and I was itching to ink him up :)



I followed the fab sketch on the Truly Scrumptious Challenge . I coloured the image with copics (after a few failed attempts at distress ink ,,,,, won't go into that !! ugh) and decoupaged ferus in front of the flowers. The papers are also from the WRS these are from the Polka Dot paper pack. I alos used a little purple coredinations which i cuttlebugged using the swiss dots folder. The little sentiment is also from a WRS sentiment set.

I also used a Tim Holtz Flourish die and some Grungepaper to make a 'wave' for her to sit on :-) this was painted with Picket Fence Crackle paint I added some Robins Nest Dew drops and the flower is Prima ,, sprayed with pearl glimmer mist.

I just received this image from Dulcie at the Wild Rose Studio, isn't she fab !! :-)I love that she is not a skinny girl like many images ,,,, more like most of us eh, nicely rounded !! :-)

The image I used is a new release and is called 'Lady with Wine'. I coloured her with copics and paper pieced her dress. The papers are Henbury Lane from Papermania and the ribbon was in my messy drawer.The flowers are a mixture of Prima and Hero Arts :-) I added black diamond stickles to her jewellery and handbag strap and star dust stickles around her dress edges

For my card I followed the fab sketch on the Friday Sketchers Challenge I used this gorgeous Wee and Reindeer stamp designed by Norma Fickel for Whiff of Joy I coloured the image with Copics and decoupaged Rudolph. I inked around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink and used a Glitz Roller Doodle vine along the side. This was inked with Hero Arts Latte chalk ink . The flower is my FAVE Tim Holtz Prima Poinsettia Limited Edition ,,these make a fabulous christmas gift for a crafty friend :-) The papers are Basic Grey from the Wassail and the Kraft Basic paper pads. I also used a Martha Stewart Corner Holly Punch, to be honest I dropped a blob of glossy accents which I used to stick the Robins Nest Dew Drops right at the bottom of the image ,, so I had to stick some holly there too lol,, oohh and Rudolph has a drop n his nose too :-) For the sentiment I used a Tim Holtz Sizzix die Ticket strip and a Tim Holtz Odds and ends cling stamp. Phew ,,,, think that's all !! :-)

Just Cute Bears Lets Go Dotty GD card :-)

I am thrilled to have been asked to be a GD for a month over on the Just Cute Bears Challenge ,,, one of my FAVE challenges :-) I was never very keen on bears to be honest ,,, then all of a sudden I LOVED them !! I think what converted me originally was Gruffie, and now I am collecting all Bear stamps ,,, so if anyone has any they want to get rid of ,,, lol :-)

I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with Broken China distress ink ,, it doesn't show up much in the photo ,, but it looks lovely IRL ,, you just have to take my word for it lol :-) I added the compulsory Star Dust Stickles here and there for sparkle. The papers are from My Minds Eye, Signature Christmas book. The dotty ribbon was white and I coloured it with a copic pen, the sentiment is from a LOTV sentiment set.
