Just Cute Bears Photo Inspiration Challenge

My 2nd GD card for the Just Cute Bears Challenge ,,,, this week Cathy's 2 girls chose a beautiful peacock image for us get inspiration from ! (Photo below)



For my card I followed last weeks fab sketch on the LOTV Challenge ,, I didn't realise it was now a weekly sketch lol !! :-) I used a new LOTV stamp ,,, soo cute !! I coloured the image with copics and added a little star dust stickles here and there and added glossy accents to the baubles. The backing paper is a handmade paper I bought in Venice and I must admit I was very reluctant to cut into it ,,, but I though it was perfect for the inspiration !! I also used gold stardream card which I embossed with a star folder. The flower and bauble are from a Tim Holtz Prima Limited edition collection ,,, gorgeous these are ! The sentiment is also from a LOTV sentiment set and I used some ric-rac from my drawer.

Wild Rose Studio DT card + a few of challenges :-)

A quick post today as I have lots of things to do and very little time to do them in !! ,,,

Dulcie from the Wild Rose Studio (WRS)sent me this gorgeous Fergus with Bouquet stamp and I was itching to ink him up :)



I followed the fab sketch on the Truly Scrumptious Challenge . I coloured the image with copics (after a few failed attempts at distress ink ,,,,, won't go into that !! ugh) and decoupaged ferus in front of the flowers. The papers are also from the WRS these are from the Polka Dot paper pack. I alos used a little purple coredinations which i cuttlebugged using the swiss dots folder. The little sentiment is also from a WRS sentiment set.

For my card I used a lovely Sarah Kay stamp, this one is called Andre Carrying Watermelon. I coloured the image with copics and decoupaged the little dog, I inked around the edges with Stormy Sky and Pine Needles distress inks. The papers are from Pebbles Inc and are called 'Boy's Only', I also use some SU green card and some mesh which I have had for ages !!. The buttons are Basic Grey and I added, some Robins Nest dew Drops, I finished with a bone button and charm :-)

Friday has whizzed around again and it's time for a new theme over on the Totally Papercrafts Challenge :-)

For my card I used my new CC Designs stamp that I won in a blog candy from Pops :-) thanks Pops xx This one is called Bubbles Lost Lagoon isn't she cute ! I coloured her with copics and added fine glitter and star dust stickles almost everywhere :-)The papers are Papermania Henbury Lane and the sentiment is from a Wild Rose Studio sentiment set. I also used a Tim Holtz Flourish die and some Grungepaper to make a 'wave' for her to sit on :-) this was painted with Picket Fence Crackle paint I added some Robins Nest Dew drops and the flower is Prima ,, sprayed with pearl glimmer mist.

I just received this image from Dulcie at the Wild Rose Studio, isn't she fab !! :-)I love that she is not a skinny girl like many images ,,,, more like most of us eh, nicely rounded !! :-)

For this card I followed the fab sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge :-)



The image I used is a new release and is called 'Lady with Wine'. I coloured her with copics and paper pieced her dress. The papers are Henbury Lane from Papermania and the ribbon was in my messy drawer.The flowers are a mixture of Prima and Hero Arts :-) I added black diamond stickles to her jewellery and handbag strap and star dust stickles around her dress edges

For my card I followed the fab sketch on the Friday Sketchers Challenge I used this gorgeous Wee and Reindeer stamp designed by Norma Fickel for Whiff of Joy I coloured the image with Copics and decoupaged Rudolph. I inked around the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink and used a Glitz Roller Doodle vine along the side. This was inked with Hero Arts Latte chalk ink . The flower is my FAVE Tim Holtz Prima Poinsettia Limited Edition ,,these make a fabulous christmas gift for a crafty friend :-) The papers are Basic Grey from the Wassail and the Kraft Basic paper pads. I also used a Martha Stewart Corner Holly Punch, to be honest I dropped a blob of glossy accents which I used to stick the Robins Nest Dew Drops right at the bottom of the image ,, so I had to stick some holly there too lol,, oohh and Rudolph has a drop n his nose too :-) For the sentiment I used a Tim Holtz Sizzix die Ticket strip and a Tim Holtz Odds and ends cling stamp. Phew ,,,, think that's all !! :-)

Just Cute Bears Lets Go Dotty GD card :-)

I am thrilled to have been asked to be a GD for a month over on the Just Cute Bears Challenge ,,, one of my FAVE challenges :-) I was never very keen on bears to be honest ,,, then all of a sudden I LOVED them !! I think what converted me originally was Gruffie, and now I am collecting all Bear stamps ,,, so if anyone has any they want to get rid of ,,, lol :-)

I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with Broken China distress ink ,, it doesn't show up much in the photo ,, but it looks lovely IRL ,, you just have to take my word for it lol :-) I added the compulsory Star Dust Stickles here and there for sparkle. The papers are from My Minds Eye, Signature Christmas book. The dotty ribbon was white and I coloured it with a copic pen, the sentiment is from a LOTV sentiment set.

This week we would like to see

PEARLS AND LACE on your creations :-)

If you don't have pearl gems you can use pearly buttons, pearl glimmer mist, liquid pearls, perfect pearls,,, pearlescent card ,,, lots of possibilities and the lace can be paper lace, lacey design paper, lacey border punch ,,, not necessarily fabric lace.

The DT and our lovely GD Jackie have all used Magnolia products this week ,,, well , as the theme is Lace and Pearls I think Tilda is in the limelight ,,, I doubt we will be seeing very much of poor Edwin this week !! :-) If you have any Magnolia images we would love to see them but you can use whatever you like on your creations.

For my card I followed the fab sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge I used my new Magnolia Wish Tilda stamp, did you notice she has her shoes on the wrong feet ?? :-) I coloured her with copics and added star dust stickles and copic glitter pen for sparkle. The papers are Magnolia too, I think from the Yummy Tummy collection ,, I do have the fairytale ones too ,, so why didn't I use them !!! cos I forgot I had them !! Anyway ,, I think these are lovely too :-) I used Lilac card and lilac coredinations too, all the papers were inked with Vintage Photo distress ink. The Pearls are Prima Say it In Pearls and have these gorgeous little roses with them :-)



The lace I have had for ages in my drawer , I did try to use a more fancy lace but I must admit lace is not my fave and I find it difficult to use ,,it always looks 'wrong' on my cards and gorgeous on everyone elses !! :-) The flower was a mix of Prima and others from my drawers too ,, sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist and star dust stickled :-0

I used my Lovely Confetti HM stamp, coloured with copics and dollops of star dust stickles here and there :-) I used one sheet of Basic Grey paper from the Two Scoops paper pad, some beige coredinations and I embossed a little ivory stardream card with a Tim Holtz swirl embossing folder. I added one type of ribbon ( OK I cut it into 2 bits !! ), 1 gem and 1 flower :-)

Totally Papercrafts ,,,, Keep it Clean and Simple

It is the lovely Anne's turn this week to choose the theme on the Totally Papercrafts Challenge this week and she chose

KEEP IT CLEAN AND SIMPLE

This started life as a small 3X3 card so that I could enter the Allsorts Challenge this week too ,,, and it just went from there ! I ended up making this stationary set which has 4 3x3 cards, 4 1/2x 41/2 cards and 4 gift tags.
My buddy Heather AKA Rica's Haven made one last week and she inspired me to make this :-) You can find the instructions on Jackie Topa's blog
I used a Hero Arts Scroll Tree and Tiny Owl stamps for the cards and a Hero Arts leaf stamp for the tags. I stamped all the images with pigment ink and embossed with black sparkle EP. The papers are Doodlebug and the flowers on the lid are from Prima
