ABC Challenge Q for Quick and Easy sketch ,, extra ,, make more than 1 :-)

Today is my DS 22nd B'day !!! where did those years go ?? one min he's a baby and the next he is off to Uni !! Make the most of your babies :-) ,, you don't keep them for long before they're leaving home !!

Time for a new theme over on the ABC Christmas Challenge

For this fortnight it was Samantha's turn to choose the theme and she chose

A Quick and Easy Sketch with the optional extra of making more than one the same :-)

I used a lovely Greeting Farm Keep Cozy set. This set comes with 3 little snowpeople so I have to make 3 cards !! :-) These are small 10x10 cm ones ,,, very cute and dinky :-)
I coloured the images with copics and added stickles here and there, the papers are Papermania Blue Christmas ones and the sentiments came with the set too. I added a few gems to finish :-)

For my card I used a lovely House Mouse Monica with Pacifier stamp. I coloured the image with copics and chalked the edges with pebbles inc pastel chalk. The papers are old digi downloads from Funky Fairys Papercrafts which has now closed down. I stamped some mice paw prints across the middle and added a SU ribbon. The flower is Prima and the sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp exclusives set I added lots of stickles, a few Robins Nest dew drops and a little pram charm :-)

I used my lovely Happy Hoppers Wishin Well stamp. I coloured it with copics and coloured the edges with stormy sky distress ink. The papers are Basic Grey and I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch and leaf punch. I also used a lucky horse shoe charm and a Tim Holtz addage ticket

WHITE AND BRIGHT

so we would like to see lots of white on your creations with bright colours :-)

Now ,, I had the idea in my head for a White Witch ,,, and then it ended up completely different ,,, I sort of lost the plot on the way !! :-) Anyway ,, as you can see I chose mainly Lime Green as my bright colour :-)
For my card I used this lovely Little Bit of Magic Whiff of Joy stamp I coloured the image with copics and coloured the edges with distress ink, I also used a glitz roller doodle vines stamp wheel The papers are Basic Grey and the sentiment is from a Wild Rose Studio sentiment set. I used a Tim Holtz swirl embossing folder which I inked slightly with distress ink too. The ribbons were in my stash and I added a satin flower and some pearls and pearl sprays too.

I am not very confidant with 'Vintage' but a challenge is a challenge and this is how we learn eh !! :-) I need more practise :-/



I used my lovely Purrty Nails House Mouse stamp :-) I coloured the image with copics and coloured the edges with distress ink. The papers are Tim Holtz Shabby Vintage and I got out my sewing machine and sewed around all the edges. The pearls are from Prima, Say it in Pearls with Roses
The ribbon was on a bouquet of flowers hubby bought me for my B'day. I used a Martha Stewart border punch and added a few gems to finish :-)

Sketch and Stash Challenge ,,,, Cathy's Sketch :-)

Good morning all :-) I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are all ready for a new Sketch and Stash Challange :-) I have visitors and am still scheduling all my posts so I hope Mr Blogger is behaving and posts for me :-)

This fortnight it was Cathy's turn to design the sketch for us to use and I know you will all LOVE it :-) Nice and easy !! my fave type !! :-)

I coloured the image with copics and the papers are from a Basic Grey Capella pad ,, I LOVE this one and need to buy another I think ! I also used some beige coredinations ,,, need more of this too !! :-) The flowers are Prima Athena Powder Puff ,, soo pretty :-) I used a few negelcted pearls ,, I completely forgot I had these and I also used Platinum stickles for sparkle ! The sentiment is from a new LOTV set.

I have been wanting to make this card for ages and have finally managed to sneak into my craft room/ Sean's temporary bedroom to make it :-) Have all my family here enjoying sunshine and playing scrabble :-)

I made this wedding card for Carlyann and her 'Hubby2B',,, hope they like it and I hope it arrives in time !!:-)



I followed Jo's fab LO on the Sketch Saturday Challenge.

I used my cute House Mouse Playing dress Up stamp, coloured with copics and I added lace stickles to her veil and a few dabs of star dust to her flowers. The papers are from the Basic Grey Cappella paper pad and light brown coredinations,,, lovely :-) the sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp excluseives set and the flowers are from Prima and the roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I added a few beige pearls and edged the coredinations with Star Dust stickles :-)

I used this gorgeous Happy Hopper Rabbits of the Round Table stamp :-) I coloured the image with copics and inked the edges with Wild Honey Distress ink. The papers are Basic Grey
from the Sugar Rush paper pad. I used a little of my new Tim Holtz film strip ribbon ,, gorgeous ! I stamped the carrots from a Happy Hoppers Carrot Tree stamp, coloured with copics and cut them out. I then glued them to the strip with rangers Glossy Accents :-) The flowers are Prima, I think ,,, not 100% sure of the black one and the sentiment is from Hero Arts

For my card I used a lovely Greeting Farm Anya stamp from thre Miss Anya collection. I stamped the image and then masked her to stamp the Eiffel Tower in the background , this is from a Simon Says Stamp Exclusives set. I coloured the image with copics and inked the edges with Spun Sugar Distress ink. I used my new Spellbinders Labels 8 die cut for the image. The flowers are Prima, I used a large pink one and popped a couple of Athena Powder Puff ones on there too.
The papers are Basic Grey from the Lime Rickey paper pad. I embossed a panel using a Swiss dot Cuttelebug folder too ,,, more dots !! :-) I used an EK Success swirl punch, a ribbon and a charm, then finished with a Tim Holtz Addage Ticket

Good Morning all :-) what CUTE cards there were in the Papertake Weekly Cutie patootie challenge ,,, !! thanks to everyone who joined us ;-)

this week dawny has made another fabulous simple sketch for us to follow :-)

For my card I used this gorgeous Edwin with Binoculars stamp ,,, can't understand why it's called that as he has a telescope,,I also used the Sea background stamp too ,, these are availabe to pre order in the Simon Says Stamp store.

I coloured the image with copics and 3D'd Edwin and the porthole. I used Tim Holts brads for the 'nails' and also small brads for his shiny buttons :-) The papers are Magnolia from the Lazy Days Of Summer pack and Craft Creations. I used some American Tag hemp twine and an anchor charm that was a gift from America and Mary when I joined the HM&F Monday challenge :-) The sentiment is also from Magnolia. I added a few pearls and make a clove hitch knot around a toothpick as an extra embellie ( I was a cub scout leader so am a dab hand with knots !! :-)) I used a star dust stickles here and there and used Picket fence distress stickles on the sea spray :-)

Wild Rose Studio DT card + a couple of challenges :-)

I managed to sneak into me craft room and make a card while no-one was looking !! I left my Mum n Dad reading their books and tip-toed away :-) WELL !! Dulcie has just sent me 3 of her gorgeous new Wild Rose Studio Christmas stamps and I just couldn't resist !! :-)

I made this card following Jeanette's fab sketch on the Friday Sketchers Challenge :-)



This gorgeous image is Winter Millie, one of a series of new Christmas stamps that have just been released. I coloured the image with copics and added star dust Stickles and Polar White Flower Soft to her pom pom and fur trims :-) The papers are also from the Wild Rose Sudio , these are from the Milton and Co Christmas pack ,,,, gorgeous !! and there are lots of papers in there that can be used all year round ;-) The Poinsettia flower is a Tim Holtz for Prima limited edition one and the gems are Kaiser Craft. the sentiment is from a Hero Arts set.
