Just Magnolia Papertake Weekly and Sophisti-cat Challenges :-)

I made this card following Bev's lovely sketch on the Just Magnolia Challenge




The image is a new Magnolia one ,, this one is called Jam Tilda from the Yummy In My Tummy Collection and will soon be available in the Simon Says Stamp Store ,,, they are winging their way towards the shelves right now :-)



I coloured both this image and the one on the bag with copics and used a little copic glitter pens too ,, they're fabulous, I coloured the background paper they are sitting on with Dusty Concorde distress ink which was diluted with a spray of water. The papers are all Funky Fairys Papercrafts . I used the brand new released Fancy Flourish set and It's so Distressing Vol 1 papers

I made this gift bag for the Sophisticat Challenge which I am very sorry to say I missed their first week last week ,,, :-(
I saw a gorgeous bag made by Jacqui on her blog yesterday, incidentally she is giving hers away with some fabby blog candy :-) I followed the link to the SCS website where there ia a tutorial on how to make this. you can see the Box in a Bag tutorial here.
As you can see I did faux stitching on the card and the bag using the lovely copic glitter pens so I am also entering these into the Papertake Weekly Challenge too :-)




It was so easy to make and will definitely be making more of these in future,,, lovely gift bag eh ! The sentiment is a Melissa Frances rub on available in the Simon Says Stamp Store ,,,, I love these :-)

Funky Fairys are Recycling :-)

Thanks to everyone who joined in with us on the Funky Fairys Challenge :-)I really enjoyed popping by to see all your lovely creations :-)

This week we arre going 'green' :-) We are asking you all to RECYCLE something on your creations :-)



I retrieved some mountboard from my local framer's bin ,, with his permission of course and made a notebook :-)



The image was a stamped image from Jo,, I love this image and am now looking for the High Hopes stamp,, soo cute eh ! I coloured the image with copics and added chalk to give him a dirty look ,, :-) the paper is a new release from Funky Fairys Papercrafts

These papers are fabulous ,, this one is called Camo
you get 70 designs for only £1.99, I think that is a fantastic bargain ! The mesh ribbon is from Bunny Zoe Crafts
and the buttons/toggle are from an old school coat of Sean's ,,, they are about 12 years old !!

I followed Emma's fabulous sketch on the Allsorts Challenge blog this is the first time I am entering this challenge ,,:-) Emma also asked us to use 2 colours of our own choice, so I chose red/turquoise :-)




I won this fabulous Penny Black Rubber Stamp 3844k VANILLA Girl Dog Walking in a competition on the Simon Says Stamp blog,,, Heidi was asking us to name a few PB stamps used on some beautiful cards and the first one with the correct answers won a PB stamp of our choice :-) and it was ME !!! :-) Thanks Heidi ;-) x x




I coloured the image with copics and added gorgeous COPIC Twinkling Stars markers to the jewellery etc,, these pens are gorgeous !! The papers are from My mind's Eye and coredinations.I think I might have cheated a bit here ,,,, oops,, the paw print paper I made using a paw print stamp and distress inks,, does that count as another patterned paper?? :-) I was so engrosssed in following the sketch I forgot about the recipe :-) never mind the DT will be lenient on all your entries too ,,, it is open to interpretation :-) The flowers are Prima and the sentiment is from Simon Says Clear Stamps CAT DOG BEST OF FRIENDS Lot Exclusive Set

Fabulous Funky Spooky Papers !! :-)

Funky Fairys Papercrafts have just released this fabulous new paper download kit,,, It is fantastic let me tell ya !!It is called A lil bit Spooky
go and see it ,,,the plain papers are gorgeous and not at all spooky so they can be used any time ;-)



I made this card following becky's fabulous sketch on the Sketch and Stash Challenge I also followed the colour theme on the Colour Create Challenge which is Neon green/Black !! Perfect colours for halloween eh !! :-)




The scary cat image is a Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp KITTY Cat Halloween Stampers Anonymous and was in a DT pack from Heidi at Simon Says Stamp,,, no prizes for guessing what an upcoming challenge will be there then !! :-) Thanks Heidi ,,, I LOVE this stamp x x The cat was stamped using black brilliancve ink and 3d'd,, it's eyes were coloured green and a dot of copics spica glitter added for a little sparkle ;-) The background was stamped with a Tim Holtz Rubber Stamp FLOURISH COLLAGE Stampers Anonymous

The ribon is from my messy drawer and that was the last little bit of it :-( The flowers are white prima ones ,,, I coloured the black one with a copic marker and the green is sprayed with green meadow glimmer mist. all the edges of the papers and the green flower were all distressed with black soot distress ink ,,,:-) The sentiment is also from the Lil bit Spooky set ,,, you must go n check it out ,,, it is fabulous ,,, :-)

edited : I just finished making this goodie bag and am entering this into the Polka Doodles Challenge which is 'Anything But a Card' ;-)

Sketch Saturday Challenge :-)

I followed the lovely layout on the Sketch Saturday Challenge for this card :-)I couldn't see who had designed it so apologies for not mentioning the fab designer :-)



I have just bought a couple of Anya stamps from Bunny Zoe Crafts,, my first Anya's !! :-)
This cute image, the flower stamp and the sentiment are all from the Hope and Grace set.


I stamped the flower image with clear emboss ink and sprinkled sparkle EP over it and heated ,,, I love this delicate effect,, the image was then coloured with copics and 3D'd onto this paper. I also used copic spica pens to add sparkle :-) The flowers are also coloured with copics and 3d's and a little ice stickles added. This fabulous paper is a new release from Funky Fairys Papercrafts called Camo Style,, it comes in 35 different colour styles and is only £1.99 !! BARGAIN !! The ribbon is from my messy drawer,,and I also drpooed a few Robins Nest Dew drops in there too ,,, adds more sparkle :-)

Just Magnolia and Stampin for the Weekend Challenges

The Stamping for the Weekend Challenge have a fabulous sketch for us to follow designed by Donna and the Just Magnolia Challenge is asking us to use 'Embossing' :-)




I used another newly released Magnolia image,, This one is callend Chef Tilda ;-)


As usual I coloured the image with copics and 3d'd her face and knees. I also used a little bit of Tilda's plate which I coloured then smothered with crackle glaze.The papers are all from Funky Fairys Papercrafts I used Gorgeous Gingham, Tiny Daisies, Doodlementals and Cherish paper kits on this one :-) I also used black magic coredinations which I swiss dotted in my cuttlebug folder and sanded,the ribbon is from my messy drawer and the brads are doodlebug, flower from Prima and leaves made using my Martha Stewart punch :-)
The sentiment is heat embossed with black sparkle EP and is from the Simon Says Clear Stamps SIMPLY THE BEST SENTIMENTS Lot Exclusive Set

A Spoonful of Sugar and Cute Card Thursday Challenges :-)

I made this card following the fabulous sketch by MichelleO on the Spoonful of Sugar Challenge
I also tried as much as possible to stick to the colour scheme on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge which is Strawberry Mint Jullep ! Yum !!



This Magnolia image is a new release and is called kitchen Tilda she's lovely eh !! :-)I love her headscarf,, :-)



I coloured the image with copics and 3d'd her,the chair is also a Magnolia stamp. Papertake Weekly meets Basic Grey Challenges :-)

The theme at the moment on the Basic Grey Challenge is a beautiful 'Inspiration Challenge and we are to use this photo for our inspiration ;-)



I just think the muted pastel colours are beautiful in this photo so I've tried to choose my Basic Grey papers with it in mind,, I used papers from the Wisteria pad on my card :-)




The image is a brand new Magnolia image,, this one is called Blueberry Tilda :-) I filled her basket with flower soft tho so she has a basket of petals !!!





I coloured the image with copics and 3d'd her onto an oval nestie shape that I chalked with blue and green,,, I didn't have the right colour flower soft so i coloured ivory ones with purple ink and it worked OK ,, oh and I added lace stickles to the lacy bits :-)

The mesh ribbon is from Bunny Zoes Crafts The organza ribbon is from my messy drawer,,,,!

Funky Fairy's 'Tag it' Challenge

What fun we had last week !! the Funky Fun Blog Hope was fabulous and thank you to all those that hopped along :-) The list of candy winners will be posted on the Blog of Inspiration and the Challenge blog :-)

I used my new High Hopes stamp from Bunny Zoe Crafts
this one is called Heidi and Madison,,, very cute eh :-) I used Gorgeous Grids and Dainty Dots downloads from Funky Fairys Papercrafts
The tag was made using a Tim Holtz fragment which I coloured with alcohol inks,,, you can't really see it very well on the photo but it does look lovely !!! honest !! :-) I then used a charm die cut and stamped the sentiment, which is from a Simon Says Clear Stamps SIMPLY THE BEST SENTIMENTS Lot Exclusive Set
I inked all the edges and stamped the footprints with antique linen distress ink ;-) The ribbon was from my messy drawer and the button embellies were a RAK from my DT buddy Jo

The images were coloured with copics and 3d'd onto the flower patterned paper. The frame was made with strips of black card which I crimped and swiped with a brilliance galaxy gold ink pad. the oriental letters are from a hero arts set.

Papertake Weekly and Mojo Monday Challenges

I made this card following the fab sketck on the Mojo Monday Challenge :-) I am also entering this in the Papertake Weekly Challenge whose theme is Angels and Fairy's

The image was coloured with copics and 3d'd onto a new blossom nestie shape. The image was masked and the background was chalked. The cloud was made using puff white embossing powder and glitter.The paper is BG euphoria paper and purple coredinations. The butterfly is a grungeboard die cut :-)

Simon Says It's Heidi's Choice !! Happy Birthday Heidi :-)

We have a very special Simon Says Stamp Challenge this week :-) It is Heidi's Birthday tomorrow HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEIDI :-) X X X
To celebrate Heidi sent all the DT and Mina,who is in our Designer Spotlight this week, her work is fantastic ,, go and see her blog if you haven't already ,,,, you all have !! thought so !! :-) Anyways ,,,, Heidi sent us all a lovely parcel of goodies and we had to use something from it on our card. Obviously she can't send everyone a pack so Heidi chose this fabulous sketch by Iris for everyone to follow :-)



I made 2 cards so that i could show off the lovely Rachelle Anne Miller Clear Stamp Lily and Milo ENJOY THE MOMENT from Stampavie which was in my box along with the lovely decorative frame by Tattered Angels and the SU pewter frame :-) The frame is by Tattered Angels, isn't it lovely !! The flowers are by Prima and the charm is also now available in the Simon Says Stamp Store :-) The text is a Melissa Frances transfer ,,, These are fab !! :-)




My 2nd card was made using Funky Fairys Papercrafts papers these are from the Tiny Daisies and A Lil Bit of Happy kits :-) The flowers are Prima and the decorative edge is made using a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment is from Simon Says Clear Stamps SIMPLY THE BEST SENTIMENTS Lot Exclusive Set and mounted in a SU pewter frame :-)



We have an EXTRA SPECIAL prize this week ,,, Heidi is giving loads of fabulous goodies away ,,, don't miss it !! :-)
