brrrr !! It's cold out there :-)

To make this card I followed Heather's fabulous sketch on the Truly Scrumptious Challenge
I completely forgot that I was supposed to add beads :-( Never mind I will still link it and if I have time I will make another one that will qualify for the prize draw :-)








I made this card for the House Mouse Monday Challenge whose theme is the exact opposite of last week 'White on White ! :-) The DT cards are all gorgeous and I have seen a few fabulous entries too so I just had to join in ! :-)

I coloured the image with copics and tried to get a few textures on there ! ;-)

I am also entering it into the Cupcake Craft Challenge whose theme is Christmas,,,, I was chosen to be in their top 5 last week :-) Thanks so much, I am absolutely thrilled and have put the blinkie at the top of my blog :-)

The theme on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge is also Christmas so I am entering this in there too :-)

I am also entering this in the Our Creative Corner Challenge whose theme is 'Triple Play' you have to have at least 3 different types of embellies,, well I have ribbon, brads and a die cut snowflake :-)

Now !! Would you like to own this stamp ! ,, well not this one cos it's mine ! but a brand new one ?? Heidi has very kindly offered to let me have a blog candy give away EVERY WEEK on my blog !!! How brill is that !!

Simon Says Do Dawny's Sketch :-) + Hidden Candy :-)

This week the Sketch Queen of Blogland, Dawny P, has made a sketch to follow on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Fab eh !! :-) She has also agreed to be in our Designer Spotlight ,,, :-) Thanks so much Dawny :-) I am sure that most, if not all have visited Dawny's fab blog but IF you haven't you need to make a coffee and go for a lovely browse :-)

I coloured her with copics, 3 D'd her and paper pieced her dress and hat with basic grey papers :-)



The papers are doodlebug and green whitewash card :-) I do love coredinations ! What did we do before !!! Fab card !! :-) You can get such gorgeous effects with it
The buttons are papermania and the ribbon is from my messy drawer :-)
I used my new Martha Stewart punch and black satin ribbon to finish :-)
I stamped 'Happy Birthday' very simply using a Simon Says Clear Stamps SIMPLY THE BEST SENTIMENTS Exclusive Set.



I am entering this card in the Just Magnolia Challenge whose theme is 'Buttons'
This card also qualifies for the Papertake Weekly Challenge who have a take your pic colour challenge where most cards will 'fit' :-)

Funky Fairys Girly Challenge :-)

We loved coming to see the fabulous cards you made using Jilly's sketch !! Lovely :-)

This week we have another fabby challenge for you :-) Let's Get Girly !! :-) Well for those that know me I am not really a girly girl,, not a lace and ribbons person ! Also my daughter Amy isn't either and as this is for her 16th Birthday I thought I would make it with her character in mind LOL :-)



The gothy girl image is one of a few Stampotique stamps I have,, fab eh !! :-)I got her from the Stamp Attic




I used It's so Distressing and Distressing Vines papers from the Funky Fairy's Papercrafts Store To enter the challenge you have to use at least one Funky Fairys download,, they have gorgeous fairy images too,, There are also some free papers available to download on the Blog Of Inspiration so you can try before you buy :-)

Doodle Palace 1st Challenge

I have had this gorgeous bunny image from the Doodle Palace for quite a while, these are called Braydon and Berneen :-) Cute eh !! :-)

have decided to challenge us :-) This week they are asking for a card/creation using the colours of their blog,,, Pink/Green/Black, they also ask for flourishes and bling :-) Go to the blog to find out more :-) They are offering a fab prize of 2 digi image downloads :-) Obviously I won't be entered in the draw :-) Gives you more of a chance eh !! :-)

I coloured the image with copics and 3 D'd the bunny in the foreground.I stamped a HOTP flourish across the 2 strips of paper,,, most is hidden :-(
The papers are papermania A4 Blueberry Hill ,,, gorgeous papers ,, :-)

The flowers are prima and the charm is from the Hobby House I got the Martha Stewart punch from there too :-)

I followed Debbie's fab sketch on A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge :-)

The theme this week on the House Mouse Monday Challenge is no colouring !! That's a challenge eh !! I inked everything in sight !! :-) The mice are paper tole'd too !! I hope it was ok to add a little stickles ,,, !! :-)

I followed Gyle's lovely sketch on the Sugar Bowl Challenge and they also ask us to use ribbons and bows,,, well that was lucky !! I only just read that bit !!! phew !!

I also made this for the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge whose theme this week is Spots and Stripes :-)

3 Times a Lady :-)

When I saw the theme on the Stamping for the Weekend Challenge I knew which stamp I HAD to use !! :-) I love these 3 'ladies' ;-) They have given us 3 song titles to choose from and I chose 3 Times a Lady by the Commodores :-)






I used my PB Sensations stamp, coloured the images with copics and 3D'd them. I used my copics gold spica glitter pen on the sheep's earrings, liquid pearls to the pig's necklace and gave the cow some diamond ear studs :-)
The swirly paper is from Papermania,,, I inked the edges of everything with distress ink. I used my new Martha Steward punch to make a fancy edge and added ribbon n flowers, a charm and gems to finish :-)

The sentiment is from Simon Says Clear Stamps SIMPLY THE BEST SENTIMENTS Exclusive Set. the stamp actually says friends forever but that made it too big so I masked the 'forever' ! :-)

I am also entering it for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge ;-) I know I should have used more swirls,,, and I did try to put some on but they just didn't work so am afraid the swirly paper is all I could do :-/

Charisma Cardz Alter It Challenge

This started life as a box of Arial washing tablets !!! I have been meaning to make a box to keep all my lovely Simon Says Stamps in ever since I saw teamie Iris's fab box ( you can see it here
)





I used SU paper and some brown/pink coredinations. The letters were cut out on my cricut. the pink card was inked with antique linen ink and the edges distressed using a stitch unpicker/cutter ,,I find these work really well. I coloured various simon Says Stamp images with copics and plonked them on the front :-) I am really happy with this and plan to make more to keep my Magnolia's, Penny Black etc etc :-)

Funky Fairy's Challenge ;-) Jilly's Sketch :-)

The theme this week on the Funky Fairy's Challenge is to follow the fabulous sketch by Jilly, isn't it lovely !! :-)

For my card I used a brand new paper download called A Lil Bit of Happy This set is just gorgeous and I think is just perfect for all the gorgeous angel stamps out there ! I will be using this ALOT !! :-) I also used some 'Dot's are Distressing' paper to paper piece the dots on the toadstool :-)

As you can see I used one of Janet's lovely Pink Gem images, this one is called Sprinkles on Toadstool,, gorgeous eh !! :-) I also used some Mushrooms from the Simon Says Clear Stamps MUSHROOMS GROW TOGETHER Exclusive Set!

The images were coloured with copics and I used lots of glitter :-) I LOVE glitter LOL
The sentiment is from Simon Says Clear Stamps SENDING SUNSHINE Exclusive Set now for those of you who haven't got this set yet, WHY NOT !! It's a fabby sentiment set,,, my fave :-)

Simon Says Summer Fruits or Fruity Colours :-)

It's time for a new theme on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge This week we are asking for 'Summer Fruits or Fruity Colours' We realise that some of you may not have any fruity stamps/images to use so fruity colours are fine too :-)







As you can see I used a new Summer Tilda image, they are flying across the pond on their way onto the shelves at Simon Says Stamp Store at this very moment !! I will let you all know as soon as they arrive :-)








The images were coloured with copics and I paper tole'd everything !! This is an 8 inch square card,, my first and maybe my last !! It took me ages to make !! :-)

The papers are HOTP and DCWV I used the last bit of my plain brown cardstock !!! :-( and whitewash coredinations that I placed in a cuttlebug folder that had been coloured with Rocket Red Brilliance ink and sent through to give a depressed image ! I really love this technique.

The butterflies are from the Simon Says Clear Stamps Butterfly BUTTERFLIES Exclusive Set!.

I followed Mina's fabulous sketch on the Just Magnolia Challenge
isn't is a lovely sketch !! I will make another smaller card using this one :-)

I am entering this in the Stamping for the Weekend Challenge whose theme is 'Strawberries Dipped in Chocolate' and also the Cupcake Craft Challenge whose theme is Blossoms and butterflies

New Summer Tilda Stamps Coming Soon To Simon Says Stamp Store :-)

I made this card using one of my lovely new summer Tilda images, I do love this set :-) they will be available very soon in the Simon Says Stamp store,,, will let you all know as soon as they arrive :-)






I followed the fabulous, easy, sketch by Heidi on the Friday Sketchers Challenge I do like em easy :-)
I am also entering this for the Papertake Weekly Challenge
whose theme is 'Favourite Things',,, I don't really have favourites, I like lots of things,, but at the moment I would say these new Tilda's are my favourite things and this colour is one of my faves blue/ turquoise,, love them ! I also like water parks and especially the Lazy River ride,, tho I do like the rapids too :-)

I am entering this for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge too. They are asking for thankyou cards for a teacher but my children are older and don't send them so I have made this as a plain thankyou card, hope you don't mind.

I am also entering this in the Stamp With Fun Challenge who are asking us to use punches

I coloured the image with copics and added some stickles glitter,, crystal for the water and lace for Tilda's top ;-) The papers are new ,,, I just bought them from my local craft shop, Binky Crafts and are new Papermania ones ,,, they are just gorgeous,,,:-). The flowers are Prima and nd punched daisies, finished with a doodlebug sugared brad.

Doodle Palace Sneak Peek :-)

The Doodle Palace Etsy store are releasing some fabulous new images on Tuesday !! This is just one of them.
I chose to use this Birthday Bear image as I needed to make a special 40th card for Tony, the co-owner of Binky Crafts, my local craft shop :-)





I coloured the image with copics and 3D'd his arms, legs and gift.The papers are all papermania and coredinations,available in Binky Crafts. I used the birthday cuttlebog folder and sanded to highlight the text :-)

I followed the fabulous sketch on the Sketch Saturday Challenge , the DT have made some gorgeous cards for our inspiration :-)

Joanne's 20,000 hit + 1st blogoversary candy :-)

Funky Fairy teamie and friend Joanne (Crafting Joanne)is celebrating her first blogoversary on 31st July AND having over 20,000 hits !! That is no surprise really !! Her work is fabulous and everyone loves to go and visit her to see it !!! :-) She is offfering this fabulous candy and will be adding extra's too !! Yummy :-) Please don't all enter tho !!! LOL :-)
I met Joanne a couple of months ago and will be meeting up with her again with fellow Funky Fairy Emma next month,, if I win this candy I can collect it myself Joanne LOL :-)
