Art Impressions Cottage By the Beach

Hi all, I wanted to join in with the Art Impressions Lots of Layers Challenge and only just realised that the deadine is in a few hours so I had to get a wiggle on ;-) 

I used a lovely Cottage By the Beach Stamp Set but made it into a Christmas card with lots of snow ;-)

I layered papers and card and also layered the frames

and I finished the inside

Simon Says: Thanks/Thanksgiving

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

We are welcoming the lovely and super talented Tenia Nelson aka Jazzy Paper Designs into the Designer Spotlight this month. For the eagle eyed amongst you you may have noticed that Tenia was in the Monday Challenge Spotlight last month! Please pop over and give her a warm Simon welcome and leave some love!

 For my card today I used a Mega Greetings Clear Stamp Set , the sentiments are so big you really don't need anything else to add to your card! :-) 

For the background I used Ranger Watercolor Paper and dipped it into Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Walnut Stain distress Oxide Inks. I then splattered with Dylusions Black Marble Ink. When everything was dry I heat embosed the 'thanks' with Black Pigment Ink and Clear Embossing Powder. 

I white heat embossed the sentiment onto black card stock, added a few gold sequins and wrapped a length of gold string to finish. 

So now it's YOUR turn to take out your supplies and join in!

I coloured with Copic Markers, added some 3D Sparkle Puff for the snowy ground and gold heat embossed the sentiment.

Isn't he a handome chap! As soon as I saw this fabulous die set I knew that he would be coming home with me ;-)
