Lorraine's Loft: 06/02/13

Hi again, I am back with a 2nd card today, this time using some of the Simon's Exclusive Summer Release Products ( my previous one used the June Card Kit, if you would like to see it please CLICK HERE ) :-)

I made this to join in with the Featured Stamper Challenge over on the Splitcoast Stampers site and I CASE'd THIS card by Ellie Stover.

I loved the little skunk and thought the new 'Stinkin Cute' critter would be perfect :-)

It's true !! Life does stink sometimes ! I had just finished the card and was stamping 'Sometimes' on the inside and I dropped the inked stamp !! ughugh, I was going to make an insert to cover it then thought it was a bit ironic, so left it ,,, haha ,,, is it just me or do we all make these oopsies ??

Hi all :-) I hope you're all having a fabulous weekend :-)

I have been playing with the latest Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit and love the masculine designs, the May kit was very feminine so this is a fabulous opposite :-)

The kit is currently out of stock but more are expected soon if not sooner, BUT, the only way to guarantee that you can get one is to subscribe ! Just sayin' :-)

I have a new Apple Mac comp and am struggling a bit with photo editing, so apologies for the quality of the piccy's but I am working on it :-) Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I made this to enter this week's Less Is More Challenge and they are asking us to use the colours of our front door, mine is wood (photo below) so I have gone all neutral brown shades :-)

I love this cute little man stamp in the Kelly Purkey 'Dude' set that comes with the kit, and to be honest I am really pleased with how this one turned out ! I think it IS Coolville ,,,, lol :-)

Did I tell you I met THE Kelly Purkey in New York !! YES ,, we had dinner together with Heidi, Sarah, and Steph from Simon Says Stamp and also Britta Swiderski too,, it was FAB :-) I must admit I did feel a bit 'star struck' but she was so very lovely, beautiful girl inside and out,,,, and we have the same taste for Gin and Tonic ! :-)

I didn't decorate the inside but did stamp the 'Thank You' just for being you sentiment :-)
I have linked all the products I used, the photo's for the base card looks red, but it is a Mocha brown.

Please don't look too closely at the door ,,, I have been away and it hasn't been cleaned since ,,, ooh ,,,, must be Christmas !!!!! haha :-)
