Stamp Something ,,,,, Cream and Green

Hi again :-) I am back with my card for the Stamp Something Challenge :-) I am writing this really quickly as I am going to the hairdresser in a few mins ,, I should have scheduled ,,,:-)

This week the theme is

CREAM AND GREEN

We are sponsored by Michelle's Scrapbook Store so a fab prize on offer for one lucky entrant :-)

As you know I do love my meeces ,, and this Blowing Dandelions stamp is just sooo cute, I also used a Hero Arts Dandelion stamp to create the 'floor' and the background paper, which was a fairly plain one from Kaiser Craft. I coloured the image with Copics and inked the edges with Stormy Sky and Forest Moss Distress Inks. I kept this really simple and just used Star Dust Stickles for sparkle ! The sentiment is a Penny Black stamp.

Thanks for looking :-) The DT have made some gorgeous cards for your inspiration so hop on over to the Stamp Something Challenge to see them :-)

Hi and Good Morning all :-) Hope you all have a lovely weekend of crafting ahead :-) I will be going to the UK tomorrow for 3 weeks so I won't be popping around to see you all :-) I have a few scheduled posts ,,,, not as many as I should have so unfortunately some DT cards will be missed ,,,;-/

If any of you are going to the NEC on Saturday 26th maybe we can meet !! :-) It would be lovely to meet you all, I know several of you that are going already ,,, CAN'T WAIT !! :-)

Anyway ,, moving on to the Totally Papercrafts Challenge, this week the theme is

SHAPED CARDS ,,,,Don't be square :-)

We are sponsored by the lovely Melissa from Meljen Designs and she will be giving one lucky entrant a choice of 4 digi images :-)

The DT were given a choice of digi images to use and I chose this fab Noah's Arc. I thought it would be easy to make it into a shaped card ,,, and it was !!! :-) There is a whole set of images ,, Noah himself and loads of animals ,, it is a fab set and would make a lovely play set for a child ,,, if you had loads of spare time to make one :-) The hull of the noat was paper pieced with Crate Paper and shaded a little with Copics, I then dotted black enamel accents to make 'nails' . It was shaped using an embossing tool so it does look rounded IRL. I made another door, used a brad for the handle and popped a Simon Exclusives Zebra in there. The roof was coloured with copics and decoupaged, the port hole windows were made with Glossy Accents and then I dotted Star Dust Stickles here and there for 'rain' :-)

Thanks for looking :-) The DT have made some gorgeous creations for your inspiration so pop on over to the Totally Papercrafts Challenge to see them :-)

Challenges:

Cards For Men ,,,, Masculine and Water ( there is rain and it is a boat !! )
