Just Cute Bears and Sketch Saturday Challenges :-)

There is a brand new challenge called Just Cute Bears
and their first theme is 'One for the Girls' :-)

I followed the fabulous layout on the Sketch Saturday Challenge

I used my PB Butterfly bear and butterfly edge ( which you can hardly see ! ) I colourd the image with Prisma pencils and blended. The papers are BG and I inked all the edges with dusty concorde distress inks ( think I overdid it a bit but hey ho !! ) I glittered everywhere with stickles :-)
The sentiment is from a Greeting Farm set and the ribbon slide is from a Nellie Snellen oval multiframe :-) I added some Zoomz to the corners and thats all :-)

I am also entering this card into the Die Cut Dreams Challenge whose theme is Bears :-)

Thanks for looking :-) I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)
Don't forget to take a peek at the candy sponsored by Heidi at Simon Says Stamp at the top of my blog :-)

I can now let you all in on a little secret that we have been keeping quiet for AGES !! Almost a whole 2 WEEKS !! I have been sitting on my hands and trying to be quiet ,, though I must admit I did let it slip a few times :-)

Ria,who I am sure you all know ,, wanted to set up a new challenge with some of her good friends Emma, Joanne, Anne, Sue and ME Woo Hoo !! Five of us used to be on the same team together and thought it would be a fabulous idea for us all to get together again and welcome Sue too :-)

We have been working hard behind the scenes to get a few sponsors lined up so we will have some fab prizes on offer :-)If anyone is interested in sponsoring us we still have a few dates left to fill tho ,,, so see the email address on the challenge blog if you would like to sponsor :-)

The first challenge will be one week from today ( 29th January) when we will announce our FIRST theme and we will have a fab blog hop too with lots of prizes :-)
So hop on over to the Totally Papercrafts Challenge blog to become a follower and be sure you don't miss it :-)

Ria has done a fabulous job with the design ,,, :-) maybe you would like to display our logo on your blog ,, or maybe post about our new Totally Papercrafts Challenge blog on your blog and spread the word , we would be very grateful :-)

Charisma Cardz White on White :-) last GD card ,,,

I have had a fabulous month on the Charisma Cardz Challenge and their GD :-) The girls are a lovely bunch to work with ,, thank you for making me feel so welcome :-)

This week Allison has set the theme and it is a lovely one ,,

I followed the lovely sketch on the Friday Sketchers Challenge :-)

I decided to ink up my old Penny Black wedding cake stamp ,,I thought it was discontinued but fornd it on the Penny Black site I colourd it a little bit with pink, green and light grey for shading ,, the 'ribbons' on the cake were slightly tinted with off white :-)
I made the background paper by embossing it then painstakingly applying glue to all the raised areas and sprinkling with glitter ,,, it does look ever so sparkly in real life :-) The ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the flowers are prima :-) I would have liked to have used white roses but I only have ivory ones ,,, and they just didn't look right ! :-) the sentiment is from a Simon Says Stamp exclusives set ,,,I use these sentiments all the time ! :-) I used my SU oval punches too ,, love them ! :-) I finished off with a few pearls and a charm :-)

I have just bought a fabulous bow easy from Sally who is on the DT,, it is fantastic :-) The bow I made on here didn't use it ,,, but I am going to remove that one now and make another ,,, will be back soon with a new piccy so you can see the before and after !!!! :-)

here's the 'after' better eh !! :-) You will be seeing bows on everything now ,,, I even asked Amy if she wanted me to make her one for her hair clip,,, I thought she would have looked pretty ,,, she just laughed at me !!!! LOL :-)

I am also entering this into the Penny Black Saturday Challenge whose theme is Something Sweet :-)

I have a blog candy sponsored by Heidi at Simon Says Stamp at the top of my blog if you would like to take a peek :-)
