Papertake Weekly Dawny's Sketch :-)

This is my second week as GD for the Papertake Weekly Challenge and Dawny has made yet another fabulous sketch for us to follow :-) I am having a fabulous time but I think I have given Dawny a headache this week ,,, I was so undecided about my card ,,, I just couldn't make my mind up !! This is a long post so get coffee and sit comfy :-)



I decided to use one of Paula's new images from Pollycraft,, this is only available as a digi image for a limited period so if you like it go and get it !! :-)



As you can see I made 2 versions :-) The image was coloured with copics and her trousers were 3D'd :-) The papers are lovely new ones from Funky Fairys Papercrafts these are from the Shabby Christmas set :-)



The leaves were made using a Martha Stewart punch and the snowflake was made with a spellbinders die cut :-)

Now for some candy :-) I have bought a few bits to offer as a candy :-) I would like you to tell me which version of this card you prefer ,, the leaves or the snowflakes :-) I will draw the winner from all the comments next Tuesday,,, even the ones that don't answer the question ! :-) I forgot to add some charms to the photo but I will add 10 charms,,, all different so you will have a good choice :-)

    Omgosh!!! These are both GREAT!!! However I think I prefer the one with the leaves. Not that I don't like the snowflakes, I do... I just prefer the leaves instead of the fence...

    I think they're both fabulous, Lorraine! And it's really hard to make a decision. But I think I like the snowflake one the best Either way, they're both wonderful and I love that image! Your coloring is fantastic and the papers you used are so yummy! hugs!!

    I think they are both great but prefer the leaves as it looks like he is in a forest sitting on a fallen tree, where you would expect to find elves...

    Both of them are fab Lorraine! But I do prefer the one with the leaves. She is more comfy sitting on the leaves I think :)

    Love the sketch, both cards are fab but I like the leaves and the way they pick out the Christmas trees in the DP best, the other card is very blue LOL!

    Today I had a package with my charms from your Simon Says challenge and a lovely little bonus pack of pink flowers. How very kind, thanks to you and to all at SSC

    Oh my they are both just adorable, but my preference is the leaves, it looks so luscious. Is that wire or some kind of netting behind he leaves, you have made two beautiful cards hun.

    Hard to choose a winner here Lorraine but I think the leaves one is popping at me more at the minute, just because its autumn, ask me in November and I'll probably pick the snowflake one lol.

    I like the leaves best, as I don't think it would be comfortable sitting on snowflakes!

    Both of your cards are super Lorraine but the top one stands out more perhaps because of the wonderful punched leaves. Really fab image!

    Hi, dear Lorraine, I think both are absolutely great! But I prefer the winter card, because of this wonderful snowflake with this little lovely charm. And the snowy fence is fabulous too! But - the first one is gorgeous as well. :-)
