2 Challenges in 1 :-)

I borrowed this Rubber Stampede Vintage penny farthing stamp from Nina at Binky Crafts, I thought it was perfect to enter this weeks One Stop Craft Challenge whose theme this week is 'Vintage' :-)
I made the background using Tim Holtz alcohol inks on glossy card, adding some gold mixative in with it too. I then used black stazon to stamp the image abd cut it out using a nestie. The papers were a gift from Nina too :-)
I sprayed the grungeboard die cut shapes with slate and plum glimmer mists, they look gorgeous in real life :-)
The sentiment is from a SU circular set which I layered onto a circle which had been stamped with the large wheel and added a large brad in the center.

I followed the fab sketch on the Mojo Monday Challenge they are having a special week this week, promoting awareness and fundraising for the Alzheimers charity. Did you know that people who do crafts are much less likely to develop this dreadful disease, it's true !! So when your hubby/family complain about how much time you spend cardmaking, just explain that you're just trying to keep your marbles :-)

Thanks for looking, I appreciate your comments so please leave me one :-)

Whoa! How gorgeous is this?!?! I love the stamp, I love the colours, I love it all!

Yep! You thought right! Tis coredinations, scrunched and scuffed with one of those girly flower shaped sandpaper doobries! I couldn't resist the coredinations despite the fact my craft shop only had enormous packs -ouch! Even tho I've got so much of the stuff, I am still loathe to use it and just keep looking at it and stroking it LOL!

Am still struggling with the FF circles LOL! Nothing turns out right -tee hee hee! Having been shopping and got the lunch on (John comes home for luch every day and we have our main meal then!)I'm turning my mind to my next FF attempt... no wonder I didn't get the guest design spot -it was meant to be!

Hope you've got great weather over there and that you are able to enjoy it!

Love,
Sammie x

Beautiful vintage card Lorraine, that stamp is gorgeous, I think I have one similar somewhere lol!!
Had to laugh at your omments about Sketch and Stash, it's fortnightly purely because I need 2 weeks to make sure everyone who enters receives a comment lol!! I really couldn't keep up with a weekly challenge, I'd be frazzled!! You can always enter twice though ha ha!!
Loads of love Becky xx
