I made a Fall card using Distress Oxide Inks, a Tim Holtz Leafy Layering Stencil and a Simon's Exclusive Leaves and Scribbles Stamp and Coordinating Die Set along with a Thankful Die Set.
I started by splattering some Distress Resist onto Watercolor Paper and when that was dry I smooshed Spiced Marmalade, Twisted Citron and gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Inks and dipped the paper into the puddles, drying in between each colour. I coloured some Embossing Paste with the Twisted Citron Ink and used the Leafy Stencil to add some texture. While this was still wet I sprinkled Prisma Glitter and then splattered with Black Marble, Gold Sheer and Cut Grass Shimmer Inks.
I used Simon's Chocolate Cardstock, I gold heat embossed the leaves and sentiment and finished with Nature Twine and a few Gold Sequins.

ReplyDeleteThe gold embossed leaves and word are gorgeous Lols and they sit so beautifully on the background you created and the subtle cascading leaves add so much wonderful texture - and the way you coloured the paste is so clever, I need to try out that technique!
