Simon Says: Make Your Own Flowers on the Monday Challenge

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

This week we are challenging you to make your own

Handmade Flowers

you can of course use die cut flowers, stamped and cut flowers, or maybe you have other ideas! Whatever you make we will be looking forward to seeing your beautiful blooms
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

I painted some Mixed Media Cardstock with Bubble Gum, Orchid, Snowflake, Zucchini and Caribbean Sea Paper Artsy paints and then die cut the flowers and leaves using the Single Roses Dies.

I used Gesso to prime the canvas and then used a variety of paints, inks and stamps to create the background, I even added some TH Tissue wrap, but this ended up being covered over.  I really have no idea of how the finished canvas will look, it is more of a 'keep going until I like it' kind of approach ;-)

Once I was happy with the basic background I then added texture with pasted and die cuts.

I have to say I really love how this has turned out. I think this is quite spring like and I am now intending to do a canvas for each season during the year :-)

artsy close up angle ;-)

Thanks for looking!

So now it's YOUR turn to get creating!

Do you use Instagram ?  If so please add  #sssmchallenge so we can see your entries there too

You have until Monday 8am Ohio time. 1pm UK time, 2 pm CET to join in

Hope you all have a great week :-)
Happy Crafting

Well done, Lols! I really liked seeing all of the different techniques you employed here and the flowers are a highlight! I thought it was so clever of you to leave some of the swirls filled in and other swirls as only the outline. The effect is stunning!
