Simon Says Winter Inspiration

wed-newchallenge-header

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

This week the challenge is

WINTER INSPIRATION

We would like you to use this fabulous mood board for your inspiration.
This board was created for us to use by the lovely DT member  JENN.

We are showcasing PENNY BLACK products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

I love the inspiration board and if I have enough time I will make a card inspired by every pic, so far I have made 2 to share today :-)

For my first one I was inspired by the lovely reindeer in the middle photo.

For this one I used a Penny Black Snowflake Trio Die.

I used a  Simon's Snowfall Stencil and Embossing Paste over some Kaisercraft paper for the background and made the snowdrift out of the vellum that was in the December Kit. I love how this turned out,  Debby had a very similar idea to me, did you notice that our cards are almost the same ? spooky :-) Great minds think alike :-)

For my next card I was inspired by the cute dog with his tongue out :-) I still need to make a few cards and am keeping them all fairly CAS so they fit in a normal envelope :-)

Cute or what !! :-) For this one I used a Penny Black Igloo Cling Stamp which I think is totally adorable :-)
I used flower soft for the furry trim and Prisma glitter on the igloo and icy ground. It doesn't show up very well in the photo but it is really sparkly IRL :-)

So now it's YOUR turn, Happy Crafting

Love these, Lols! I was particularly attracted to the top one! I thought it was neat that your and Debby's cards were so similar - I love both of them! I really like how you used the embossing paste on the wood-grain paper - I'm going to try that - I love the outcome! All the die cuts are gorgeous! Your second card is adorable - love the sweet image, all the sparkle, and the CAS design! Merry Christmas to you!
